Gus Hansen return to high stakes online poker  0
Over a year ago, Gus Hansen decided to walk away from online poker and few could blame him. After all, Hansen has lost over $20 million lifetime in high stakes online poker games.

But like many modern day poker pros, Hansen could not stay away forever and recently he’s been spotted playing Triple Draw and Limit Omaha Hi-Lo over on PokerStars under his handle broksi. Not surprisingly, he’s down but so far he’s only dropped about $7,500 since returning.

Great to see he's back but should have picked an another nickname lol and I hope he'll be in omaha or holdem cash games as that's where we like to see him in action Cool

The sharks smell blood in the water. One of the primary targets has returned. As good as he might be. Other pros had him figured out. Buit i wonder where he is playing as FT is long done and dusted.

I would have been in doubt if all the time lost there .... not so ... if in the end I would have always a negative outcome ... certain victory of course pleased but the most important thing is that at the end of the game ... and such huge amounts of money to lose of course very sad, and I doubt that he will continue to play online)))

if you didnt know gus hansen is No1 looser in online poker with 20m$ loss... so I doubt he will come back... this was just to see if he could make money from online poker, and he again went down... so I think this was just final nail in coffin for him

It is great to see Gus Hansen back at the tables and i really hope that he can turn his fortunes around and get back to winning ways. To lose all that money is unimaginable to me but these guys do not seem to care

Gus Hanson was one of the best live poker pros, but that he had lost over 20 Million $$$ in the past was really amazing. I think his best skills was at the live poker tables, not online. But it seems that was not enough for him.

If this is true, isnt that a really bad move? How much money you need to lose
before giving an end to this.
He had his time and then it was over Smile He has to move on to something different i think.
Unless he can find some one backing him.
But who would even do this, with his history.

They say he has lost over $20 million. That is a huge chunk of money, even for high-stakes players. The exact amount of compensation he is getting from Full Tilt has never been made public. The question is whether he has squandered his own money at the poker tables.

well I read somewhere that he was gtiing from full tilt in old days around 1m$ per month... and I think its true... so he took a lot of money from them...Was it enough to cover his poker losses... I think so...
