I am pot-committed or not ?   0
In this post I'll use an external link to a blog I write sporadically. If any problem i'll change my post properly. The main idea of this post is that I hit the nut flush on the turn and on the river my adversary puts me all-in .

I think that in itge you win ... it's some sort of a mystery? and now you write on a regular basis like ??? if so then in my opinion etiology bad idea ... here and so it has enough puzzles Worship Dude, I think your puzzle can be someone and like but my opinion - do not do it here Thumbs Down

well I think you must call there in almoust all situations... you got nut flush there... only few full houses and 1 combo of str8 flush beats you... so its easy call there, you have nice pot odds, and you should be ahead a lot of times... I think in long run that this is +EV call there... you opponent could shove there with lot of flushes, few queens, maybe even some aces... and its 25c sit and go, so you dont expect that player knows what he is doing there...

Be more specific in what you are saying, pajalnick... I am winner of draw or even good places in BRM leaderboard for years! The regularity of my posts does have no connection with my winnings!

absolutely not pot commited.

you have 60 bb's left and can easily get away from that

Agree on that, and u should fold instantly.0

I din't have any statistics about these players but:

- he raised to 6bb from middle position (weird but is just fishy)
- u called from small blind with big blind behind you getting decent odds
- preflop should be a raise only hand that is ahead off u is AA
- u are out of position and don't want to get by Ax
- on flop u donkbet (why?) very low chips he don't raise on such a board when he has strong hand
- on turn you 1/2 pot and he still calls meaning he isnt scared off 4 diamonds
- on river u bet and he shoves he most likely flopped a set and made it with queens a full house since he proflop showed he doesnt understand betsizing i would give him think he got AA or even QQ
- only hand u got beat is j off diamonds. Well u think he would shove on this board?

All in all i have to be honest with u, u played this hand terrible
Out of position flatcalling a very strong hand vs ?? While betsizing was really high.
Played the hand to far down and on river betting out? He would never flat so either u loose bigtime or win little.

I would certainly give as advice always be aggresive when holding a hand like KK cause now u lost so much of you're stack when u fold and mostelikely all of youre chips.

well looking at your avatar question "whether i am pot committed?" certainly makes for an easy answer. actually you probably should consider going a bit flat on your pot parties and never do a pot session being out of position, since this can lead you to some bad times vomiting near the river.

Let's see what hands are beating you there:

23d, AQ, 44, 55, QQ. That means you have 5th or 6th nuts (no way he has QQ there lol). Considering how deep the guy is and what's left in your stack, I doubt it's a bluff. He's probably thinking you're committed so he's doing that shove for value.

I can't tell if you're really committed there. It's all about the vilain's tendencies. if he's an aggro player then it's an easy call. If he's a TAG player, that river is one of the worst cards in the deck for you...

Cant see why not QQ ofc chances are very slim,
Without any extra info i would fold and find better spots.
If he is a loose one well u have to call bit i cant know only by this hand ofc.
Even though i wouldnt be happy doing the call.

Pot odds u have around 25% so it won't be a good call since i cant believe its a stone cold bluff
Also woild he shove with 2nd best flush while 4 diamonds + pair on table?

Hope to see more hands of you and will review them ofc Smile

It isnt critism just that it can be a flaw in you're game and if u realize that u will be a better player eventually and make more profit Smile

heheh no problem,
looking back at my first guess was right (AA even maybe QQ)
even though you should be preflop way behind best thing was to raise Out of Position and call the all-in since 99% of the time they shove with AA
