Yeah that hand is pretty famous mostly because of 1 000 000$ buy-in of the first edition of the one drop tournament. It is also famous because the guy hit his flush. If they would have split the pot this hand wouldn't even make it to the final cut of the television show... Blink

But yeah pretty crazy for the guy who went out like that. I think he had most of the shares of his own buy-in too... poor guy!

Hello friend, this stuff happens most of the time, well not all the time but I was playing a $3.30 buy in on PokerStars and it happened twice in my career online! I was 10 spots off of the money for one, and the other happened much earlier on! and people say theres no luck in poker.... this video proves that there is luck in this savage game... In theory, this hand should completely shut me up from telling bad beat stories. Can't do worse than this. What's SICK is that they were right at the money bubble iirc. So he lost a lot more than 1 million . Granted I recall a guy in WSOP Main Event who folded pocket A's at the bubble. ICM reasons matter...

very interesting and informative video ... when playing online you start to think that the random number generator in the poker room is not working properly and winnings accrue to me not such video help us understand that the impossible is possible in poker

Thank you very much, JUGADOR2011, for posting such an interesting YouTube video. Wow! The stakes were so high! I think it was a rare situation. I can't imagine how devastating and sickening it must have been for Connor Drinan.

Hah, this is so cool. Thanks @Jugador2011. It happened to me a few times as well in the past, but to see it on "tv" and with this kind of money involved - amazing, heh (-:

AA v AA is always an interesting situation. I particularly like it when one of the A's hits a flush and leaves the other player somewhat fuming with the outcome. What are the odds of AA v AA coming out in a standard game? I'm not sure I have ever been in that position but it's always fun watching the board come out.
