Following a business reevaluation, we’d like to inform you that 888’s services are not being offered to players residing in the Czech Republic and therefore your account will be closed as of 30/01/2017. You can still withdraw funds from your bankroll at any time using our web cashier. Please check your email for more information. Aww crap! Aww crap! Aww crap! Aww crap! Rostislav71, this is a very sad news to the resident of the Czech Republic.
This must have something to do with the Czech Republic's new online gambling regime having come into force on January 1, 2017.

They already scratched Hungary off their map two years ago, so i can't say anything good about them. Somehow Unibet, bet365, PS or bwin has no problems to 'work around' our nitpicky laws about 'legal' gambling but these 888 guys just cannot give a $hit about our market. Sad.

888 loses yet another country and this follows so soon after they stopped trading in Australia. It makes you wonder which country will be next, and it really is quite alarming how frequent these things are happening

I live in lithuania, we have similar problems from this year, last year some poker sites were closed and it looked bad, but this year just horrible- there are no poker sites left that are legal except tonypoker so it is like communism back- only one option to pick from.
