Partypoker has appointed John Duthie as president of partypoker LIVE. Duthie has signed a five-year deal with partypoker, who is actually the founder and former CEO of the European Poker Tour (EPT).

John Duthie has been one of the true legends of British poker for a long time.Its nice to see him getting rewarded for so much hard work he has done over the years promoting the game

ok this partypoker live schedule looks kinda beefy with tournaments in dusk till dawn and playground having 6 millions and 5 millions in guaranteed prizepool. and even the smallest tourneys have half of million gtd prizepool, have to admit this is a serious looking schedule which really puts party poker's stamp on the live events market.

I like the idea of playing live poker tournaments, especially when reading in other posts how ai program called libratus beat poker professionals making me feel that those linds of programs can beat anyone online, not wanting to risk bigger buyins with such software around, better just play libe poker against other people
PP is becoming more popular and new promotions are very steep .. today I received a ticket for the tournament in Sochi sattelite ... but unfortunately the ticket I used unsuccessfully .. but judging by the schedule of tournaments a lot more promotion will be in the future

I like the fact that the 500k tournies compared with the 5-6 millions gte are having 10-12 times 'size difference' yet the buy-ins are not 10-12 times bigger rather twice of that. The promoter/accountant should get an award for coming up w/ this scheme.
