An expert casino guide? Whatever! Isn't it amazing that how the simple concept of gambling can lead to such a niche in the market. It's a bit like a ski guide to show you all round the mountain. Lord.... there's the mountain, there's the snow.....let's go and have a blast. Who needs someone to tell you what to do where and how to get back again. Do it yourself and have some fun learning.

wow gerimantas dude, you probably are one heck of a player, maybe even what they call a blackjack guru? counting cards in a live game... this takes some skill, probably you were a math genius back in school days and now decided to make a living exploiting your hidden talents... just hope that casino security officers won't decide that snapping off your balls is the only way to prevent you from winning in the long term.

I never liked roulette, live or online, because its silly for me to try to guess what number from 36 will come and even if I put on all 36,it would be 0 green !few times in year I play blackjack online, when is some promotion or free chips, but only slots and video poker!

Yeah, you have to count them quite some time before you will know the table is getting hot... Not an easy task when alcohol is involved.

Not an easy task at all counting the cards With alcohol or not involved. How many can you memorize? When casinos use eight decks of cards and they shuffle for example after five of them are done, not much you can do there, even with counting. That was quite some time ago, so they may have changed their rules again in their favor

Yes Mober, casino's don't like card counters, so they always do the actions to make them lose money. No need for memorize cards, you need to memorize the number of hi or low cardsnthat you seen and when the number is good for you raise bets, when bad make lower bets

You need to pick the right table too. Some times the players sitting on a specific table, may change the outcome completely. And im talking on where they leave the dealer to stand when the open card for the dealer is a bad one. I have seen a couple of fights on a table, cause the last player, which is the key most of the times, played the hand instead of leaving the dealer to burn

Yes Mober i seen many fights as you say at the blackjack tables, most often often when some younger players are playing and they are drinking a lot and when they start losing money they do all sorts of things, start playing badly and saynthat other people at table play bad, cursing , and sometimes security kicks them out of casino

I think the only game in a casino where you cant see a fight is roulette. In all others i have see fights, or incidents if you like. Even in slots where someone would thing its not possible, there are many of them When people want to "hold" the slot they were playing. They put all sorts of crap onto the slot, drinks, smokes and stuff and they leave. And they think they can hold that slot forever Even casino staff do a "cleanup" in some occasions picking everything to free the slots.

Cardcounting is not about memorizing the cards, they just give each card a frequent value and keep track when this value changes each time a card is getting dealed. Any Average Joe capable doing it after a week or two practice, most people rather have problem with the addition/subtraction part of the whole thing since math classes in school ain't what they used to be...

Some people probably can memorize what cards have been dealt at single-deck blackjack (52 cards) or double-deck blackjack (104 cards) table in brick and mortar or online live casino. Simplified cardcounting system come in handy when playing 4 to 8-deck games, I guess.

ah well i've seen these card counters at the bj tables, at least once in a while new faces come up and think that they will own the game and casino big time, but in reality once pit bosses spot that person is card counting (or at least suspecting that he does) out of the blue the shoe is being split by half, and the shuffling/reshuffling becomes oh so frequent...

Exactly. There are no rules on the game, as to how many decks they will use and when they will shuffle. You see the game changing midway and wonder why? And that the reason pochui mentioned. Some casinos use machines to shuffle, so after every game they just throw the deck into the machine and get a new one.

Yes I to see this situation when playing blackjack with friends, if casino starts to think someone is card counting we see the game stops bery soon and then the dealer mixes all cards ince again, it is very stupid, we wait for game to start for 5-10 minutes andnthrn only play same 5-10 minutes to wait again, i go to roulette if this is the situation

I've just had a hell of a ride. A 5-hour non-stop live blackjack session. There were so many ups and downs. I almost blew all of money I had on PartyPoker. Luckily, I ended the session with a profit of $47 after having wagered over $1,500. Phew, I think I need some sleep.
