So as I say in title Manchester United is ij the final of Europa League after game with celta end 1-1 yesterday, it was not easy game and celta scored late but still only one more goal and they go to final themselves, then a red card in the end for bailly and some guy from celta shows how much emotions was. So what you think happens in final? Ajax or Manchester United?
I hate Man Utd but to be honest they will win it because Ajax will still play the Champions League qualification play off next season as they are in a very good position in their league whereas Utd must win it cause they will have difficulties to get there through domestic league...
The games in the semifinals were interesting ... especially at the end of the game when only one goal separated the teams from getting into the final ... I do not really like Manchester United and I'll be rooting for Ajax in the finals ... but it seems to me that in the end, Manchester United

Man Utd had luck again and in last minutes they could lose final and chance to go in champions league next season,if they win in final on europa league!in last game in europa league they didnt show anything special and they won just on quality of some players,but they were close to be kicked out!will see how they will do against ajax!

yeah there is a good point by Calmplay that ajax already have their place in champions league qualification, so this opens up the possibilities of match fixing... yeah yeah i know such thing doesn't exist in football and sport overall, but i'm just saying... and even though i like mourinho as a person, i don't like his defensive approach to football.

You would have to think that Manchester United would be heavy favourites to win and i think that they will. Ajax will have major difficulties in breaking down their defense and Man Utd always look like scoring at least once

I too think that Manchester United will win the final, because they have experienced players and very good coach/manager who knows what to do to win titles, mourinho won titles in Portugal ir Italy in Spain and im England so he is used to winning and this is important for team to have such manager
Judging by the game in the championship of England, then Manchester United is going almost unbeaten ... of course a lot of draws so the position of this team in the standings is sad ... but they lose very rarely .... maybe Ajax will create a miracle and break into the defense of United?

I think this will be a far more interesting match than many will anticipate. Alas have shown two sides to their game in their two games against Lyon. Which team will turn up in the final? I don't think their league position has any relevance. They have not won a European trophy for 21 years and their team will want to achieve that this time round. As for United, they look so fragile they could break at any moment. I think mourhino has psychologically broken them already with his constant protestations about the number of games they have to play.... the price of success. I don't recall ferguson complaining about this when they won the treble in 1999...... they just got stronger with each game the played that year. But that was a long time ago. I am looking forward to what will be a very entertaining match full of surprises.

this is only chance for man utd to go in champions league next season,if they win this final,so they must give everything in this game,because they dont have any chance more in premier league!who know how they would play europa league,if main prize isnt place in CL!

not sure whether mourinho is to blame here, it's just that he likes to whine in public, lots of excuses in advance so he can protect his image if things don't work out, but i think he tells different things to the players than public. also it's more or less the same squad of van gaal, and to extent moyes. mourinho added pobga, bailly, zlatan and mkhitarian. latter is not very consistent, zlatan a fix for one season, that leaves pogba and bailly... so a lot of molding ahead to make it a mourinho team... not sure that end result is sth mu fans will enjoy though

Yes like many people say this in posts Manchester United is not very good in this moment and can have goal against any time, also ajax play attacking football and I think in Holland like many teams they play with three forwards, so if they score early they can do big things

It was a amazing game last week and the Euro Cup finals this years are verry intersting! In the Champion League final Juve vs. Real and the Euro League Final between Manchester United and Ajax next week are also nice.

well who know how man utd would play this year at europa league if "main prize" for winner isnt spot in champions league in next season!in that case,man utd would run for place in premier league to try to play champions league and maybe wouldnt play good in EL!so this is big difference!

i am just thinking that players of manchester united can really break from the pressure of the moment, it's basically an all or nothing game for them, which could make the season a really good one, not great but really good, or totally terrible one. with worlds most expensive footballer in your ranks you are expected to reach cl at the very minimum right?

just like beckenbauer said: the euroleague is the cup of the losers and hes right. one day the gonna make a cup for the rank 8th-12th. a meaningless title and all about money. but as long the "football-fans" watch anything as long the ball is rolling it seems to work. so i dont mind whos gonna win this paralympics cup.

No teddykgb you are not right about europa league of this moment, previous competition was really no worth titles and not interesting for people to watch, but now team who win europa league gets a place in champions league, so it is a very big prize for some teams, who cannot qualify for champions league in any other way

well this year man utd can have a semi successful season if they manage to win the final and squeeze into champions league qualification, where they probably will be eliminated before even reaching the group stage mou really needs a stellar next year, or his reputation is done in england, and he can safely go to psg, or even some china club
