Phil Ivey has traveled to Las Vegas and was seen in Bobby's Room at the Bellagio casino playing a few high-stakes cash games, based on Gus Hansen's Facebook posts.
The poker community speculated it is very likely that Ivey will participate in this year's WSOP, and even if he hasn't yet joined any bracelet events, this $2,000/$4,000 cash game will keep Ivey busy for just a few more days.

Big names, these guys i can remember from a long time and watched them olay bery high stakes on tv and YouTube, and it is probably very interesting to play poker against these legends of this game, but of course you must have a lot of money to spend even one night in bobbys room

last time i heard about Ivey, was about him with the whole court story with the casino. I wonder why he doesnt play poker any more like he used too. What is it that keeps him away from the public view.

I would love to be a fly on the wall in that room. I can only imagine the amounts of money being gambled and to watch these guys play would be a privilege and i wish they would televise a few of these sessions

The truth that yes, it would be incredible power there even if it is a spectator and see how they play, you could learn a lot with the mere fact of being there ... and not dreaming I would be playing there haha not close I got to have the amount to sit There lol xD xD xD
Of course the room for players at high rates is very nice to be .... first feeling that you are a privileged person and are where there can be few players ... and secondly the opportunity to increase your bank accounted for a significant amount of money

Yeah kinda nice to see ivey and hansen back together fighting it out at the high stakes poker, brings back the good old memories of pre black friday doomsday.
I think these huge stakes cash games are not televised but I'm not 100% sure so if anyone here could confirm this, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

they wouldnt be, nor will they ever be as it will be part of why the room is so popular is because its 'private' and I doubt everything that happens is 100% legal

I have been to Bellagio several times but I didn't have a chance to visit “Bobby's Room.” A minimum buy-in of $20,000 is way too much for an amateur poker player like myself. I would rather try my luck at a blackjack table.
