People that think they know what people think behind a computer need to go see a psychiatrist... they're everywhere too. Argue with someone over something on the internet and they think you hate them instantly? Lol. cute, I never said megat wasnt informed, quite the contrary. down vote doesnt = hate either sunshine. so before you ramble on about IQ and how you are not a retard, you better take a deep breath before you bash away on ya keyboard.

yes I know but you cant just simply 'buy' it. needa find someone selling or a brokerage....or is a easier option available? - thats the whole point in this thread, to hopefully find out from someone with experience. because living in a country where WestrnUnion/moneygram is the definition of 'dodgy' its hard to not be suspicious of opening the deep web to your bank acc.

There are several exchanges where you can trade traditional currency for Bitcoin ( and a wide varity of altcoins). Just google cryptocurrency exchanges and ask me if you wanna know more about them ( you might find me @gmail.com ) .
Also have a look at localbitcoin where you can set a face to face trade with bitcoiners in your area: always meet them in crowded and safe places like in front of police station ( I'm a bti paranoid but better safe then sorry).
Balanced your thumbs down guys, lets move own - peace and love

Yep, cryptocurrency exchanges would be the way to go. There are a decent number out there at the moment, and some even accept payment via Neteller. I just wouldn`t keep the bitcoins there, tho.

magatts advice about crowded places and in front of police stations, for hand to hand trade is a very good one. It is used here quite often for trades from online auctions, like phones, gadgets etc. Some of them, they even go inside police stations to do the trades. Not a welcomed move from the police though
I wonder how a p2p trade with btc can be done though. Never thought that this can happen. Learned something new today again
After the fall of the rate of crypto currency, I observe a lot of announcements about the sale of video cards .... the manufacturers of video cards of course on all this hysteria earned a good profit and this is probably the most correct investment)))

Ethereum was the hot thing in the last few month. Mining those was considered profitable, as it could be done with a normal PC and a fitting grafic card, and didn`t need specialized hardware.

Yea magatt, i have heard about the wallets, but the thing i didnt get is, what good will make meeting in a public place or close to a police station, when you are about to make an electronic transaction

Efirium for the last month fell in price .... the truth was a slight increase but then again the rate went down ..... I'm not a villain but as it seems to me if the rate falls very significantly then all those people who started to be engaged in mining recently went bankrupt

Bankrupt may be a bit harsh here. Ethereum still trades around $240 a piece. and only went above $100 in May. So still up a lot compared to the beginning of this year, or this time last year.

Lol you obviously didn't understand what my post was about. Magatt did nothing but try to help me so I have absolutely 0 reason to not consider him a friend. You're the one doing the name dropping and you didn't read or understand Magatt's post correctly. All he said is he tried to help me get into bitcoin. He didn't say anything negative about me and I always had friendly discussions with him so why would I downvote his post?
Realistically, there are hundreds of people that could have came on this forum, read his post, misinterpreted it, downvoted it because they don't agree about something he said or even missclicked downvote on his post... It has to be me right I must have did it while I was sleeping.

Was reading an article recently on mining ethereum, and what has happened a couple of months ago with everyone buying gpu's to mine, thus resulting, in skyrocketing the price of gpu's with most of them almost extinct out of the market. Crazy stuff

It gets even crazier. At least one company has started to sell grafic cards without an actual port to connect a monitor to. So one can use them for mining only, but not as grafic cards were meant to.

Yep. Nice rise in the last weeks, mostly driven by demand from Asia. On top of that, the forked variant Bitcoin-Cash trades around $300. And everyone, who did hold Bitcoin when the fork happend, should have those too.

Exactly : basically rained free money on bitcoin holders. At that time it was worth basically a 10% without doing nothing.
Be aware free money is also raining on bitcoin holders every fullmoon throught Byteball. https://byteball.org/
And it you had a positive bitcoin balance on 26th of July you have time until the 27th of August to claim similar "free money" throught Lumens (former Stellar project) https://www.stellar.org/blog/bitcoin-claim-lumens-2/

When i checked the price of bitcoin and saw it reached 4k USD, i remembered again you magatt and all the talks. It was a regret for many not jumping in early. Not too long ago that it had 2500. Wonder if what Bill Gates said about btc, reaching 10k will come true

I have the impression that in the future these online poker rooms and casinos will accept meal vouchers, gold, diamonds, watches and other jewelery only to make a profit. I do not know why the bitcoin involved in these online games. Some rules should be observed. I would refuse bitcoin in online money games

Would you like to explain more what rules you are referring to and why you don't like online money games accepting Bitcoin?
IMO if you deposit 1k in euro or dollar somewhere theres a good chance that a week later if you want to withdraw that initial thousand it is still gonna have the same value. If you do this with one bitcoin theres no guarantee that holds its value even for a week because its too much in flux. Just my two cents.
