Yeah like many dudes and dudettes have already pointed this out i too believe that any changes the site especially when we are talking about market leader is making must be very friendly to its customers, which is not the case with what has happened here

This whole thing is actually a little comical. But I'm working on the assumption that the start of the program they will be generous to make it look good and satisfy the naysayers. So if you are dipping into the new rewards program at PokerStars, let me know how you're doing.

I have played pokerstars a lot lately and I would prefer,the old system,even if it was not very good either,but I have opened a few boxes only to be disappointed,with the time and money put into,it,not really worth it unless you are the very lucky few,they say that the program is tailored to each players,playing habits,but I have not gotten any thing other star coins,which is not very much,I guess you got to be very lucky....

When sites make the rewards program with random prizes, then it is not one that worth going after. Since we are talking about rewards it should have been something standard, that you know you will get, upon reaching a specific level.

Yes,the promo vid. is all flash and no information,agreed. When I went to site to check it out the browser has trouble,shows error message-try again or contact support.

The days with all sites having good rewards and great freerolls, belong to the past And unfortunately there is no way going back there, with all new laws, rules and regulations, from all countries, that have changed the online poker scenery.

I totally agree with some opinions against the new pokerstars policies, and I think that lately party poker like 888poker are winning you as far as preferences of choosing a poker room.-

Maybe the earlier poker stars were a favorite place for many people I see that besides huge criticism, however, poker stars are at the first place by the number of players over 50,000 people have at every moment who actively play poker maybe because of this, they have no intention of giving us some better promotions

If they had left their system the way it was and instead offered a promotion like the one that party poker now offers all of them players would have been happy But since you are on top of the industry, whatever you offer must be paid first, somehow

I do not like this new policy of promotions in this room of the red pica, I fulfilled several objectives to discover the corresponding gifts and only give me starscoin, I find that as always this room is making fun of us.-

So you still accumute "star coins" at the same rate as before? And you win an extra prize here and there? Nothing wrong with that.
So far, havent sat down to calculate it but with the 'boost' that they do it is sometimes faster. they also have a freeroll for it so chance to win some money if you havent won any in the box. also the box can give you XP towards your next box. the only thing is that I dont think it has bronze, silver, etc anymore (cant find it)
Yep totally right Robbo1990 all volume stars (bronze, silver etc.) are gone.
I think I fully understand why PS have done what they did and I believe they did it for 3 reasons; 1. Regs were banking more from (effectively) rakeback than poker and were concentrating on getting to supernova to maximise rakeback and the quality of the poker was sh@t, any non-reg taking a shot was met with regs blasting and donking to the extreme to the detriment of real poker. 2. Balancing the rewards across all players of every level, i.e, lessening the top end and re-distributing to the rec players and, 3. a little more to stars themselves as a by-product.
My roll started by winning micro amounts on PS freerolls, the old round 2's + some (of course) beautiful BRM contributions, it seems as though there is no route (apart from BRM, all hail BRM) for brand new player to basically freeroll into a roll to go on a roll to bankroll some real poker anymore, shame!

Whatever they do there is always the number 3 factor in. If they werent doing adjustments for their own good... Of course they are looking into it when they make changes from a players perspective, but not their priority.
Balancing things, for all players in total is always a good thing.

Pokerstars has made bad choices for players in recent years. Pokerstars 6 soft changed with ugly pokerstars 7. The full tilt soft changed with pokerstars soft in my country. Now with reward program. Is bad for players these changes i think
