I would take 24s all the time instedad of 47off... you have a lot more equity with 24s... you have str8 possibility, you have flush possibility, and you can hit pair... with 47 you are phucked...
I Just had that feeling in my gut to call,plus the other things that I considered the most,was the value of there bounty's vs my chip stack vs the value I put on my chip stack,I don't expected you or any one else to understand what i mean bye that,in fact it may not even make sense too you,but to me after considering those factors plus risk vs reward,it just made sense for me to risk it and go for it,after all when you play enough of bounty games you just kinda get a feel for it,cause I think about the risk vs reward part a lot playing bounty's games and the hands I should be playing,and some times taking a small risk is worth it. I hear all kinds of things playing bounty's and get called all kinds of things,and it even go's as far as to wish harm on me or my family,particularly my mother...lol.... If you can't handle getting beat bye nasty cruel hands them I will suggest not playing the bounty tourneys...normally I stay away from hands like that 74 but that's in regular tourney's when the reward is not worth the risk and there is no value,that should make some sense.
The most important thing,to me when I play is to have FUN and enjoy my self,even if it includes enjoying a rare benefit of 47.
When the game stops being fun then for you,(not referring to you StheP ) then you might turn into a baby phil,and like some here in the forum for whom poker has become more then fun and games,I may just call you with some thing awesome like 47 if there's enough value to you r head,just too piss you off...

evrything you can put in calculator and see your odds... you can put stack equity, bounty equity, and put your cards, and put oponents ranges, and see if your call is profitable, which I assuere is not... like I said if guy with 4BB only was all in, than I think its profitable call...and WTF were you doing limping wiyh 47 from mid position O.o what you want to achive with this?
The simplest explanation of what happened is that the player used a large stack and tried to use it ..... for example in 888poker very often a player with a large stack wins with a weaker hand .... I've seen this many times ..... here About the same situation

well no matter was this good or bad play,donkey play or whatever,I can just congratulate to you on this amount that you won,over 2K $ and its great success!second place is very good result and with on 7,50 $ buy in!

yeah I agree but he didnt used his stack... he limped preflop... when you have big stack you should put pressure by raising... limping is always bad...

It's very true with two aces probably lost very often in the pokerstars software. Normally it's just a pair but mathematicians working for pokerstars and arranging cards in the software make most players lose about two aces. This happens most at small or medium buy in. Instead of a pokerstars vip loses very rarely with two aces. Pokerstars(amaya group) go to h%ll or go in J@IL

I have to say it was very nice winning 2nd place that night,and when it was all said and done,In total with exchange rate I ended up with a little over 3k,and still had some left to play with.
a little while later,I won another $700,same kinda game,but the $55 buy in bounty,and I won most of my bounty's bye playing like a donkey,and playing those crap cards making hero calls,because I wanted those bounty's and got them,my range has to be wide open. I have played people who play tight and proper, poker I'll call it and they barely make any thing,let alone make the money in theses games,and they get tilted and mad when they get beat,bye crazy players chasing bounty's playing crazy hands,its just the nature of the game,I say if you don't like that kind of action then don't play the bounty's.
As ugly as 47 is to play,the fact of matter is I won 2 both bounty's as is the type of game was being played,will I play 47 again of course I will,just not very often,and depends on the type of game.

Imaybe I have been hard on you, but I am trying to improve your game, you made mistake and got lucky, but try to improve your game, I avry single day learn about poker strategy for like hour or so, and than go to play, and sorry if I was too hard on you, anyway congrats on your winning, hope you will win much more in near future
Meh, could be worse. He obviously just went after those bounties altough not sure what kind of equity comes with 47o as a hand - but in 'donkland' it have to be some high reward. The thing which does not makes sense to me here is why make a thread about this?

Unless 4 and 7 is some kind of prize hand ??? ....... I strongly doubt it .... maybe it was some kind of accidental press and in the end he was lucky? .... And this option is also possible ..... in general, a very successful alignment and of course this will not happen again

I guess you didn't read the part where,I explained why I made the call,any way not worth repeating,as for why I made a thread about was for this very purpose information, discussion,but some people turned into a bass me session,I will admited this was a horrible idea,me thinking that a good discussion could come of it,but like I said it turned into a bass me session. I did get some good info though,that maybe this is not a good place to try and discuss any thing about any thing,here. Some people make far worse topics for threads,and some people genuinely try and have a discussion about some thing here and they get bashed and thumbs downed,just cause some people don't understand english to well,and try and voice there opinions about things they don't understand. This forum has really gone to crapper,and its just the negative boring ass people who can't or don't get laid enough, try and say any thing positive,hell even negative stuff is okay,when it's done in good taste, and is intended to be constructive, but not in the manner displayed here in this thread.
Thank you for those who got it,understood the purpose of the thread,and didn't turn into an opportunity to BASH me for just playing a hand in poker game that turned out to be profitable for me.
This used to be good place to discuss things like this,what happened?
I am sure that my future post will be limited and I may just decide it s no longer worth it staying here at brm.
