Hey boys and girls just wanted to wish all my fellow Canucks a very Happy Thanksgiving and hope you all had a great day with family and friends.
Your boy TheIrish77 fresh off a great week on Party is back at it after a 2 day vacation of eating and more eating. must've put on about 8 pounds. Time to sweat it off at the poker tables i guess lol.
Just started up a couple of 5.50$ buy-ins and already off to a decent start.
Playing the Featherweight: 1.5K GTD 8-MAX PKO and already have 2 KO's to my name. Took a shot with A7 suited and hit trips on flop to hold against bigger hands so now basically a freeroll the rest of the way which is dangerous for the other players cause i can now play some wild card combinations to make some very under the radar hands.
Also in a 5.50$ 8 max-turbo but down a bit form starting 30K stack. around 22K currently. Still very early though.
Progress will be updated throughout and hope to make this one of those days of cashes and titles!
------------ Now up to 92 K in The 8 max PKO and close to top 10 atm. Should've had my 3rd KO but guy had like 285 chips more than me when i crushed his soul.
Still Looking good so far for TheIrish77.
------------ Lost some chips now got a bunch back and now into top 5!
Had pocket kings and i reraised a early raise and then get put in by bigger stack and they held against AJ and AQ with only one player hitting top top pair against my bigger pair.
Big chips early on for your boy.

------------ ouch got bounced after some horrible calls preflop by me. Still Made 6.75$ just from the KO's so profit in this one.
Also have top 10 in my favourite run the 750$ gtd 6-max rebuy and now into top 5!
looking for the crown i was denied on Friday. So look out poker fools!

Still top 10 in the 750$ Gtd rebuy.
Making my way near the top of leaderboard and could use my chip stack to push around small guys on the table.

------------ Still top 5 currently in the 750$ gtd Rebuy and could have way more chips if big hands would've held but hey that's the nature of this game. Got to get lucky sometimes.
But hey still top 5 is pretty damn good and with registration coming to a close near the last level now we'll ass-on shortly and then the real fun begins.

------------ Just hit the add-on for this run and no more registration so only the remaining players have a shot at the title!
Now in 3rd overall with more than 46K to my total and a very good shot at a deep profitable run here.
I'll update when i cash this and then closer hopefully to a final table!

I like to hear that our forum regular theirish is once again doing some serious poker and again things look good at the moment, of course not all tournaments ended well, but good chance us still open, so i eish you good luck and we will wait to see what is the result on this night

out in like 61st. after losing hand AK vs AQ preflop all in got it in with pocket 9's against AK and of course they win. wow big disappointment on this run after such good run. and so close to money as well.
Gods just werent there for me near the end. could've ended so much different but hey another good run but just wasn't meant too be i guess.
I'll be back on the tables later and try for some more scores!

You are doing good overall, nothing to worry about. You can get the next one. Staying in the plus size is the first priority. And with the constant winnings even small ones you reassuring that. So next big win of yours, is close again

It's crazy how you can play so many tournaments and still do well in almost all of them. Your power of concentration is on a completely different level to me and i salute you sir

well not this time the irish dude, but there's always next day, and then next day and so on. that's how life is when you are a poker player- lots of setbacks until you finally hit a good run and hopefully turn all of your losses into an overall profit. good luck with that dude.

You're right Mober as long as I'm still winning overall than 1 day is really just a small hiccup in the big scheme of things.
I just looked at some of my stats and it says I'm up 615$ + on Party so far this year and most of that earned within last few weeks so I'm doing pretty well in the BR.
And again i know i can't win everytime but with the consistent late runs and cashes feels like I'm super close to always having good opportunities and know soon a bigger score is just around the corner now.
Obviously my confidence is at a new all time high on the felt and think i can hang with most players and have had my game evolve immensely in the last month or so. But also have to realise that i have still so much more work to put into this to get that other level so i need to maybe start reading some books and looking deeper into this game i do certainly love.
Thanks guys for all the feedback and i welcome all comments positive or negative please. Love having a great community on here to feed off of and learn more about the game and how things can be done differently.

Agree to be honest. sometimes I don't even have energy to open the software let alone play straight for multiple hours.
bowie1984 can you very often you play and a game for you seems boring? Try to make a pause or to find that rhythm under which it will become more interesting to you at poker tables. I had to open many tournaments and eventually earlier too, my passion and energy began to disappear.

yeah this hurt,when you see at what positions you were and that you had very good amount of chips for later stage and for bigger prizes!but we all know that you will have more luck in next tournaments,probably today!

Your Ace King having been beaten by your opponent's Ace Queen is really painful. And your pocket Nines having lost a coin flip (I think you are actually a slight favorite over your opponent) is nothing but unfortunate. You have done nothing wrong.
