demodawggy, you have raised a very interesting question. I too wonder how partypoker pays out winnings (in the form of any prize money) to its players. There should be direct and indirect crediting methods, depending on the recipient's preference.

probably this is the easiest way to transfer money to the player to participate in the tournament .... but then the question arises ...... could he just take this money and not go anywhere? .... it seems to me that there is not ... .. therefore probably the translation was done in some other way

well when I won ticket I imidiatly recived 5,3k ticket on my account, and mail that said that they will ask me for info for hotel and stuff in about month or so. I also should recive right away 2k$ on pp account for flight expences, but I recived it day after... so thats how they payed me... all $ for expences you recive on pp account

cool cool, nice question from demodawggy and was interesting to read the answer from sthep- kinda luring to gamble away that flight expenses money on a high stakes poker session and walk to the scene of event using old fashion way aka your feet, of course some swimming included as well

I think this user demodawggy or is too curious or he wants to win a ticket in a satellite that sends in a very beautiful location. It is probably very difficult to get a ticket, but anything is possible. Party Poker will have many tournaments with beautiful prizes the year that comes and who knows.

since it describes the hero of the event is certainly the best option for the poker room .... they were insured from the fact that the money will be spent for other purposes .... but that's the question .... but if it did not appear in the the right amount of money? ... then what to do?

I have often wondered how these prizes are paid out and thank you for clearing that up. It must have been a tremendous feeling to see that amount of money in your account and well done again to you

Thanks for giving note about this subject StheP, we never know when it can happen to another mobster, hope it does! The expenses are already an important part of the whole package, and the winner will always end up more or less benefited with those. Having the amount available on the poker acount it's a quick way to transfer it, but depending on the home country, it may be difficult to explain the bank or tax rulers the legality of its origin, specially if its a big amount - i've read about some events where help for expenses goes up to $5k! Imagine to transfer that to a bank account in order to pay for a big flight travel and having the Government asking where that money came from and where are we going?

so probably if you dont want to go or you have some private problems,you can cancel this and take this money from account and not to spend on aynthing about this tournament!its same do they pay on party account or on bank account!

if you cannot play you will only get those 2k that you got in first place... rest 8k$ (for hotel and buy in) goes to waste... IT5PAYDAY won packege but couldnt go and his packege went to waste....he only had 2k$ on his account for flight expences...
