That's right your boy TheIrish77 back on his grind and looking for bigger cashes today. Yesterday was a bit of a struggle getting outdrawn on too many occasions to remember but glad that i have a short memory cause it was brutal.
Playing a 2.20$ NLHE 6-max Hyper-Turbo on Stars and currently sit 19/128 with top 191 paid out. Already have 4.50$ locked up so doubled my Investment so that's good but obviously looking for much more than that. More than 383$ up top for the winner!
So let's just take this one down and then the rest of the day can be easy breazy.

------------ Out in 99th after bad read on player post flop. I hit mid pair he hit top pair and lost most of stack and gone a couple hands after. made 5.40$ but another opportunity lost.
Thsi is getting very frustrating playing almost perfect poker early to mid stages of tournaments and then falling apart late. I't's not like I'm being outplayed, at all but just make a 1 bad decision which is just that much more magnified later in a tournament with blinds so high.
On to the next one.
------------ So gross was playing a 2.20 NLHE Turbo MTT and had ACes and get it against K9 and of course this happens...

You still hitting high numbers on finishing positions. Which means nothing is lost, since you have the final table close to you each time. And like you said, thats poker, so you need a bit more luck and you will get there again. Just, not your day

dont trap with AA if there is early open and you are in mid position... never trap with AA in midle position... see what you have done there... you just give invitation for blinds to join... because they had insaine price to call now, and I would call there even with 27s on BB... and you are against 3 players holding AA... automaticly your chances of winning pot isnt so much great... so avoid to trap with AA from early position, dont trap with AA after 2x open... you should trap with AA only on late position, and if you are playing small stakes you can limp with AA on UTG, but that is very old trick and most of decent players can smell it from a far...and dont always trap with AA in late position.. you should play it aggressivley 70/30 it depends on type of playrs you are playing against
congratulations on the next win ... Of course it's very sad that after a good game at the beginning of the tournament then you lose everything because of a small mistake .... this proves that you need not lose concentration when playing in such tournaments .... I wish good luck in the future the game

I regretted it the moment i did it STheP! I can still recall doing and immediately being like WTF did i just do. I never limp Aces unless in BB. You're absolutely right that it is old trick that most players see.

At first gratz to another nice itm place in this hyper turbo tourney at stars! Amazing, how often you are in this money in a few days there. But to loose a hand with a monster like AA in this situation, can give you a big frustration. But next time you win one of this situation and hav a big stack at the final table
