I just signed up there & would like to hear from people who did that process at Neteller how they experienced it. How long did it take, what exactly you need to provide etc ... Just before I do it. Thanks for sharing

has been a while since i have done that. but as far as i remember, you cant use your account on Neteller as long as you dont give them your bank account number. after you gave em your bank account number, they will deposit and transfer back again to approve your ID/acc number. meanwhile your Neteller account will be inaccessible untill you contact Neteller, then they will call you back and your netelleraccount will be approved and ready to use. it usualy takes only a couple days.

I just sendt them a scan of my passport and scrambled out the pp numbers etc. It took about a week. I guess it`s a safety issue. You also might need to send them a utilitybill or something too. Don`t quite remember.

either bank account number or passport/utilitybill. but best is by bank account number, because one day you will cash out from neteller - then you have to give them your bank account number anyways. passport/utilitybill is unnecessary in my opinion.

Neteller service sucks, everything they have to proces takes extremely long time and no kind of scan is good enough not even when you do it on a scanner priced 5K$. So my advice would be to use a digital camera and be prepared to wait 2-3 weeks or maybe go for Moneybookers. MB are faster, better service and cheaper. I only got negative experience with Neteller but still use it once a while.

i tryed signing up for neteller... my scanner is broken so i took a digital photo of passport and a bill and sent it to them. After 4-5 days i got a mail saying that this documents weren't good enough !! They also said that i just had to give them my bankaccount no and wait for a transfer. After i got this transfer, i talked to their live support asking why my account still wasn't updated for extended... well, now they say that i still had to send them some documents... !!!! very trustible... So i decided that i won't use them... gonna use moneybookers instead !!
Wow most of you experienced that badly. I will proceed it on Monday, I have no choice since Moneybookers stopping online gambling transaction with my country. I hope it will not take more than 1 week. Thanks for sharing & good luck.

i am in your situation too and i send them the useful documents, and after 10 days, i did not get answers... each time i contact them by live chat, they tell me always the same sentence ... " it usually take less than 1 week "
Neteller support is very bad !

Neteller is the easiest and fastest e-wallet on the net. When everyting in the signup is done, it`s great to use. It takes just 6hours for me to do i wiretransfer to neteller (after i registered my bankaccount). And with MB it takes 3days... Also, when you got the neteller account up and running, you just apply for the Net+ Mastercard, and you will be able to witdraw directly from your neteller.
But as some of you said, the support is VERY slow. Often 2hours wait in the live chat.

On moneybookers i validated my account in 24 hours through emails and when i needed to extend my transaction limit i could use account normally during that process. No live chat but every email is answered within 24 hours and if it is something more complicated then it may take up to a week but it is solved. No fees deducted for online transactions, merchants pay them, and if Moneybookers has opened bank account in your country, they have account in mine hometown, money can be in your account in 24 hours, if it is validated. Those of you who can use both Neteller and Moneybookers should think twice before choosing which one. There is complete FAQ on Moneybookers, which is non existent on Neteller, with all the answers 99% of people would like to know.

is this new with neteller? i dont remember ever sending them any documents except bank account. they must of changed it. you have to make pressure ! but as someone mentioned before, you can transfer quickly by neteller once the procedure done.

After 1year i had to send them documents to verify my id and adress.
those you use Neteller know what is it, just wait for some replies & I'm sure you will understand what I'm talking about.
