You cashed again, so again a good result. Being in positive always one step close to final table and big ins is the best thing you can do. You cant win every time the tournament Not that would have been a bad thing to do though
Congrats for the 7th place finishing but indeed bad ending in the other one, deserved better after your big double up but hey as mentioned above you can't win everytime but keep up the good play. I am sure big result will come soon....

There was no problem with your AK shove from the BB at all. You go into the hand with around 12 big blinds, SB has 10... so you're playing with effective stack sizes of 10BBs.
What is SB vs BB's shoving range there? To be profitable, SB can shove over 70% of their hands, so any pocket pair, any ace, any king, queen, jack, any suited, any connectors, and semi-connectors..... they are shoving soooooo many hands that I'm going to be calling there with 66+ and any 2 broadway JQ+....
AK is so far up in your range that it is never, ever a fold. Not even a consideration. The one time in 100 they flip over Aces you're a 9-1 underdog. the one time in 100 they flip over kings, you're a 2-1 underdog... every other hand you're either evens or a big fave.
Do not question this play... if you start folding here you're going to lose value, and money in the long run.
It happens. Move on and do exactly the same thing next time.
