The first of the final games of the group stages are at hand. In group A everything is clear. Russia and Uruguay are through. In group B Spain has the best chances, as a draw is good enough for them, and they can even qualify with a loss, if the other game goes their way. Portugal and Iran play out the other team going into the knock out stages, with Iran needing a win.

I post here too... Poland played like s**t! It's shame for me, to watch my national team, which play like children... It was one of the worst game on this World Cup. No fighting, no playing, no passes.

They were not able to set up Lewandowski, who, like many Bayern players isn`t in his best form at the moment, and in the defense the players are just to slow. Can work if they can concentrate purely on the defense, but if they need to open up to put more players in the attack, they are extremely vulnerable to counter attacks.

But they can't counter-attack. All of the top teams, when construct a counter-attack, they make 2-3 passes and try to score. Poland when try to counter-attack passes on defense line, and give time to opponent to regroup and back to own half. Playing like this, you never score from counter-attack. I saw match Belgium vs Tunisia, and always when Tunisia has miss pass, Belgium score goal. This was pure beauty!
after the first half of the game, Uruguay-Russia 2-0 in favor of Uruguay .... I certainly hoped that the Russian team can adequately resist Uruguay but .... both goals as it seems to be the fault of our goalkeeper .... he is certainly a good goalkeeper, but Such goals should not be missed ....

I bet here in The BankrollMob on the Uruguay - Russia match 0-1 but the final result was 3-0. I did not expect that after two wins with weak teams, both with 1-0, Uruguay to beat the score Russia ( who scored 8 goals in 2 matches ) especially as it is the host. Your team had a poor match, probably rested a few players.

The usual susspects quaöified on the first day. Today there is group C. Australia with just one point plays against Peru, who are out already, and needs a win and a victory of france over Denmark in the other game. But there a draw would suite both teams. So i wouldn't hold my breath. Things in group D are more interesting. Unless Iceland lands a major victory over already qualified Croatia, the match between Nigeria and Argentina will produce the other team going into the ko stages. So with a win Argentina can still qualify.

After the drama between Argentina and Nigeria yesterday, today may produce the next nailbiter. In group E we could still end up with three teams having 6 points or 1 team with 9 and three teams with 3. Mexico has the best chances. A draw is good enough, and if Germany doesn`t beat South Korea, they would qualify even with a loss. Germany and Sweden have to win and watch the other game, while Korea must win and than pray. Group F is basicly down to a showdown between Serbia and Brazil, with the Serbs needing a win

I want Serbs to win with Brasil but it's hard for Serbs to win. Has an opportunity because Brazil is not a big team right now. I also want France and Portugal to lose with Argentina and Uruguay. Croatia and Denmark i think the first team will win. Spain with Rusia i do not know because Spain has matches but not so good and Russia he does not have the good team but it can produce surprise and eliminate Spain.

Last two groups to go into their final games. In group G everything is clear. Belgium and England are through, Tunisia and Panama already out. Far more interesting is group H. Japan has the best chances. Any draw will see them through, and they may qualify even with a loss. In the other game Colombia and Senegal battle it out, with Colombia needing a win.

Germany lost! And they're out of World Cup It was one of the best news in Poland Check Polish internet today. And German newspapers were laughing of Poland and Lewandowski after we lost to Colombia. Karma is back

4th time that team from europe,who won last world cup,go home after three games in group!this time its germany!they didnt play good and we can see that this win against sweden in injury time was just luck!they didnt even score goal yesterday and something is bad their team!

I do not understand why Germany played so poorly in this world. Mucilaginous Joachim Löw need to be replaced with someone else. Poland looks like a strong team for a few years but in this world championship played poorly ( 1-5 goal difference in two matches and 0 points ). Maybe to another final tournament will play better.

Actualy Germany played poorly throughout the whole year. The last results before the World Cup were a loss against Austria (Austria!) amd a meagre 2:1 over Saudi-Arabia. The guys that got trashed 5:0 by Russia.
And yes, usualy it would be replacement time. But i have my doubts if they find a respected head coach that can piece together a new squad.
of course the coach of the German national team needs to be changed .... he seems to me to have made several mistakes in the formation of the team and in such a sad outcome .... maybe he will understand that he made a mistake and correct the situation but it seems to me better the new coach

First day of the knock out stages. Two times Europe versus South America. France takes on Argentina, and Portugal plays Uruguay. Both France and Uruguay cruised through the group stage, while Argentina and Portugal had some problems.
It was one of the best
