Posted by Mysik86: Germany lost! And they're out of World Cup It was one of the best news in Poland Check Polish internet today. And German newspapers were laughing of Poland and Lewandowski after we lost to Colombia. Karma is back
Best World Cup ever!
ive read alot funny stuff on internet after germany fked up like beginners, like "not the first time germany lost in russia". but when i read people like you id wish i was a real german, because to see so much hate and exspecialy to smell the "fear" when playing football vs germany leaves a goose bump on my back because that has to be something germany is proud of
btw, i haven read all newspapers but skipped over a few and i havent seen a single bad word about poland. that has to be either bad translation or propaganda by your goverment. not like your brazil, france, italy or another big football nation to have a laugh if they fail. just poland... who barely qualify for worldcup

After two exciting games yesterday, todays games pitch european teames against each other. Spain takes on host Russia, while in the evening Croatia plays Denmark. Only Croatia played the group stage convincingly, and especialy Spain had its shaky moments.

Let's see what the newspapers will say about Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. They will laugh at them or not? I think this is not the case because they and other players have had some tiresome seasons. It is not easy to play at high level very good any time. Physical condition without rest do not resist.

After two penalty shotouts yesterday today brings two games with clear favorites and underdogs. Brazil plays Mexico, who had a good start to the tournament, but had been put down to earth in their last game. The other game sees Belgium, with three wins in the group stage, take on Japan, for me the worst team to make it into the knock out stage.

Please notice, that this World Cup has so many surprises, that there's no favorites and no underdogs For me, better option to bet is win of Belgium. I saw their matches, and for me it's the perfect candidate for the champion. They have awesome players on attack, and of course - Thibault Courtois - the best goalkeeper on this WC. So, go Belgium, go go go! And Mexico may make another surprise, because Brazil's play don't looks awesome... They're pretty average so far... but it's still Brazil

Yep. Belgiums play had been good so far. But that was also true for the last two tournaments. Then they came up against heavy resistance, and faltered. And Brazil may actually be stronger without Neymar, who plays only for himself.

I think that long season affect on lot of teams and players!we had champions league final almost on end of may and just after 20 days world cup started!players just have too much games in legs and its not normal to play so many cups, league and international games!thats why so many better teams are out,but its good for rest of world!

I thought, i knew more about this world cup but unfortunately i missed many results. There were some surprises and few matches that ended with X. Big teams have been eliminated in this world cup and the remaining teams not playing a football as beautiful as i wanted. Probably because of the ball this is happening.
today finally won the favorites ... Brazil of course a very good team but the simulation of Neimar spoiled the impression ...... but the Japanese well done .... the cool started the second half ... and in the end of course there was not enough experience ... instead of quietly finishing the game 25 seconds tried to score and the payoff was terrible

After the dramatic finish of Belgium vs Japan, today brings the last games of the first knock out round. Sweden takes on the Swiss, and i am completely clueless about the outcome. The other game pitches England versus Colombia, who got their act together after their loss in the first game against Japan, and won the other two to even win their group.

Yes. This match was awesome. One of the best matches on this world cup! I didn't expect that Belgium not only score 2 goals for draw, but also win match in regular time! It was truly incredible to watch. I hope that Belgium will win whole Cup - they deserve it, and it's nice to see how they play.
Posted by peronibar: Congrats to Croatia and Russia on 14 finale's
Two teams which were great at killing football tbh but their lucky break was the danish and spanish teams who were just doing the same. It was a nasty day for those who love this game. Congrats to them anyway.

It was a sensation comeback for the Belgians, in the game last night with Japan. Asian players did not surprise after they led with two goals, and they left this edition of world cup. Brasil he did not have big emotions with Mexic, and will be an interesting match Brasil - Belgium.
