Mober:
Yeah my work can be really exhausting at times so I don't get the time I would like for poker. But I'm at least happy that the limited time I do get gives me some profit.

Serpang:
I probably could think about a semi career playing poker but the fact is that even tho my work takes up a lot of my time, I do love it and I'm actually quite quickly moving up in the chain and I'm making a decent living off of it. And I have a goal set for my career, and I think that with some hard work I can be there within 3 years. If I get to that position I will have a salary of minimum $4000/month.

Calmplay:
If you check my very first post you will find the current stats Smile however I will copy them into this post for you!

Current stake: $0.25

Bankroll: $23.47
Number of sessions: 5
Last session profit/loss: $2.75
Total profit/loss: $5.75
Average profit/session: $1.15

Good thing that you have set goals, regarding your work, and your future there.
Having a steady work that pays good, is one of the best things.
There isnt the "gamble" feature into it.
And the salary you are looking at is a very good one ? Smile
The best part also is that you love what you are doing, in other words,
you are one of the lucky ones Smile

of course the profit of this person is quite small and uninteresting ..... it is much more interesting to read about bigger winnings or losses .... when the game is big money, then people's interest is more evident .... but in any case I congratulate you on winning and good luck in the game

It's very nice goal, both in poker and in career. It shows, that you're pretty set Smile It's very important in life. And of course I wish you luck in your career too! I don't know how much are average expenses in Sweden, but in Poland, the salary about $1000-1500 is the average salary and if someone earn that cash, it is pretty well-situated. But $4000 is sooo good salary, but I know that the prices are higher than here in Poland.

Mober:
That salary isn't a huge one, but it's a bit over average. But my line of work is really low paid so it's really high considering that.

pajnick:
As I've said before, if you're not interested in my stats I'm not forcing you to follow them. And even tho it's quite small amounts, based on the bankroll I have available it's a pretty solid profit so far so you need to put things in perspective and not just think about the actual amount.

Mysik86:
Well, my monthly costs at the moment are about $2500, but that's pretty high. So with the salary I now have I'm barely getting by so I really would need that promotion!

So I had another b******t session. I honestly couldn't win anything and all flips I lost, and I lost about 70% of all the all-in hands that I had the better hand going in. But I actually played really solid poker so as I said last time, the long run is what's important! I lost $1 today so it's not a complete disaster but it always sucks to lose money. Anyway, I'm confident I'll get it back during the next few sessions.

Bankroll: $22.47
Number of sessions: 6
Last session profit/loss: -$1.00
Total profit/loss: $4.75
Average profit/session: $0.79

Considering the payments here then your salary is very high.
But of course the expenses might be more than here too.
Havent gone deep into this, just a simple salary comparison.
Anyway, the important thing is to enjoy what you are doing Smile

Mober:
Yeah, my current expenses are about $2500/month so I'm barely getting by right now. But that monthly cost is gonna get a bit lower by the end of the year due to a loan being fully paid off. But yeah, as long as I love what I do, I'm happy to work there. Especially since I have my goal and I really feel that I can make it!

Todays session went really good. I played as well as the last few days and today it paid off. I won back all that I lost yesterday and a little bit extra. Total profit for today: $2.25.

Bankroll: $24.72
Number of sessions: 7
Last session profit/loss: $2.25
Total profit/loss: $7.00
Average profit/session: $1.00

Well done erru!! Thumbs Up Again you back to good track after down, I impressed cause I know that game really hard. hyper turbo, single mistake could be fatal. 7 session for $2.25 it's mean you almost win all of 7 games ? How many time you lost ? wonderful Thumbs Up Good luck.

A session is, well, a session of games. So over 7 sessions I've had a total of $7 profit. During these 7 sessions I've lost money on 2. My last session that I made $2.25 from was adter playing 12 games.

If I were to make an estimation, a qualified guess would be that on average I make about $0.10 profit for each game I play.

What's your chip/ev? Because the last thing to watch in these games is money won.

I haven't taken the time to calculate that but I know it's good, I've been playing poker for long enough to know when I'm making profitable plays and I don't fool myself into thinking so just because I want to.

I'm gonna try to keep some stats of how I'm doing with the SnG Jackpot games. I can't promise it'll be completely up to date but when I do make an update, the stats at that point in time will be the current results.

I won't keep any detailed stats, only if I ended a session with a profit or loss and how much. I will also update my current bankroll here to give you an idea of how far away I am from reaching the higher Buy-In games. My bankroll management is simple. 100 BI needed for each level. When I move up in BI I can lose up to 5 before I move back down again. If I end a session with, for example, 97 BI then the next session will start at the lower level, thus disregarding the 5 BI loss rule.

Current stake: $0.25

Bankroll: $24.72
Number of sessions: 7
Last session profit/loss: $2.25
Total profit/loss: $7.00
Average profit/session: $1.00

If there's anything else you want to know, just ask!

Without lies i played more then 10000k's of the spin and gos and my max multiplayer was 25 few times xDDD

Yeah well, those big ones don't exactly grow on trees. The biggest I've ever gotten was a 10x prize pool. But I figure that as long as I make a profit even if all prizes are 2x, then I'm in a really good position to earn decent cash.

------------
I will most likely play a session within the next couple of hours. For some reason I'm feeling really optimistic already so we'll see how it turns out. Wish me luck! Smile

I made a profit of $0.25 this session, but to be honest I think it was one of my absolute worst sessions ever. I had a bunch of bad beats, made a few really bad plays that I don't even know how I was thinking when I made them, and all of the bigger prize pools was lost. So all in all a really bad day but at least I still managed to make a profit so that's at least something. Profit is still profit, even if it's really low.

Now I'll take a break until friday. Hoping to keep increasing my profit!

Here are my total stats at the moment:

Bankroll: $24.97
Number of sessions: 8
Last session profit/loss: $0.25
Total profit/loss: $7.25
Average profit/session: $0.90

Your situation is normal for human being, I thought.lol!! Since you know your weakness is better so you can stop at the right time. Good luck in break, and I wish you come back in good mood and condition to play again. Smile

Yeah, if I know what my issues are, I can act accordingly and make sure I don't go on a crazy tilt or something like that! I can also improve my game a lot more since I know where the leaks in my gameplay are.

I think the break is good for me, even if it wasn't by choice. I'm working crazy hours these next three days so I just don't have any time what so ever for playing poker. Not that good since I really want to reach that $100 goal by the end of the year and it's not that easy playing $0.25 games.

It can take a while, to reach your goal, but not that much.
You have plenty of time till the end of the year to reach the 100 USD goal.
Not that high one.
All depends on how much time you can devote till then, plus the downswings you may encounter Smile

Well, if things keep going this way I'm not gonna reach my goal any time soon... Play a session of about an hour and I didn't a single game where the multiplier got higher then 2x... But even tho I only got those low value games, I managed to end my session on a break even note. So nothing earned but at least nothing lost either.

I think that the way this turned out shows that I'm in a pretty decent position since it's very unlikely to play this many games without a few of them being at least a 4x multiplier. So if I break even on only 2x multipliers, I'm almost guaranteed to earn a profit if I get a higher prize from time to time.

Bankroll: $24.97
Number of sessions: 9
Last session profit/loss: $0.00
Total profit/loss: $7.25
Average profit/session: $0.80
