... Big Smile< ...Has anybody else experienced the crazy massive failure over at PartyPoker...? I've had problems registering for games since yesterday,....games with or without late registration won't let you in among other problems...

... Big Smile< ...I phoned them last night and they said the worldwide glitch could continue for 24 - 72 hours until they can diagnose and correct it... Very unlike PartyPoker,....they are a very solid and reliable site...! Thumbs Up

Thansk Demo for the update. was wondering why everytime i logged in it would just reset and prompt log in again. Too bad cause was just about to start grinding.

Update :

Just spoke with Live chat now and they said the issue has been resolved on their end but still affecting some players. Should be at some point today early tomorrow i'd imagine.

Big Smile< ....Ya,....that's another problem I was having.... I logged in,...brought up a tourney lobby, and when I went to register,...UP popped the Log-In thingy again...! After several tries I managed to register, but in THAT particular tourney I play I prefer to 'Late Register',...but couldn't do that in a game earlier today,...so I will just stay registered in this one for now Smile

PP need that then change in their software since these problems are very long and there is no resolution .. sadly this Aww crap!

You have to actually reinstall the whole client ? They made no mention f this on live chat just minutes ago. Maybe i'll try later on as it's too late in the afternoon to start playing for me anyways. GF will be home in next hour or so and weekends here so family time it is.

Have a great weekend all my forum friends and fellow mobsters!

------------
I'm back in now but not going to play. not many tourneys to buy into it seems so it might take some time for them to start loading up again to full speed.

nevermind decided im going to play some after all. just couldn't help myself. Now to explain to my lady that i'm busy for next bunch of hours lol. this will not end well for me... stay tuned for update on her reaction soon. hahaha

They are under frequent DDoS attack in the last 24 hours and they are really doing a $hitty job mitigating the whole thing so their platform gave up early today. Yesterday evening the platform was working but tournies stopped/did not started etc. Honestly it's a $hitshow, hundreds of pissed off people complaining about it on facebook and twitter.

Well, I honestly would not be suprised if we found out that this attack was ordered originally by a competitor of theirs (khmm, Amaya, khmm) just to spite with them beacuse their traffic went up in the last couple months thanks to their frequent promotions and tourney structure.

The online gambling industry has been susceptible to DDoS attacks (and extortion demands).
The most recent outage was most likely due to third-party DDoS attacks. I thought Americas Card Room (Winning Poker Network) was also among the victims that experienced several waves of DDoS attacks?

Yeah, but they are not gonna pay at all since traffic mitigation is way cheaper than giving money to these bot armies who wants to make your network unusable.
But I would not be suprised if some of these online poker companies would put cryptomining scripts into their softwares in secret within a couple years so they could make some extra income of their userbase. The cpu/network usage always spikes when you open one of these so it would be very hard to notice - they could probably get away with it.

This glitch must have had huge implications on a lot of their players. Lucky enough for me, I don't play any MTTs so I' remain uneffected by these issues since I only play thos Jackpot Sit & Go games. I'm guessing that also the cashgame players wasn't effected by this.

Hopefully there won't be any more issues like this in the future!
