I have never heard of a poker tournament being cancelled because of the weather before. It must have been quite frightening for the players in the arena when all this was going on and i am glad that no-one seems to have been hurt

of course for all players who came to the poker championship is an unpleasant event .... but the most important thing is that in the disaster no one died .... and so everything is ok .... but in the life of poker players was an interesting event .. Agree

That may be the first time something like that happened.
Weather is getting weirder and weired nowadays.
All phenomena are more intense, due to the climate change.
Good thing some were saying there is no impact to the weather, due to global warming.
Yea, we can see that there is no change at all....

It is good that it was canceled because of ugly weather, and not because of an terrorist assault or something like that. It is ugly that the players were sent home but the casino had no good conditions of safety. This casino will lose to the personal image but people forget fast because there was nothing else more dramatic.

Why a Resort with a size like this one have not get enough working backup generators in case a couple of them giving up is beyond me. They sat there afraid of being robbed while a normally cautious safety protocol could have prevented this in a first place...

Well, a poker even being cancelled due to hard weather, that's gotta be a first. I've never heard of it before at least. It must have been really bad if they would shut this down due to it. Really lucky that noone seems to have been hurt at least. After all, life is more precious then money for sure!

All natural tragedies are bad, the important thing is that people are well in the same way it is rare to hear that he suspends a poker tournament in a casino, hopefully the distribution of the prize will be made and the casino will remain transparent throughout what he does and wait next year so that he returns to fight said tournament

Natural tragedies happen very often when you have not set up a rainwater collection system and drainage channel well established. I think Sua has something like that because is a big country with big money. In this situation it was not a tragedy because no one died but players were upset, of course.
