Better deposit and play micro buy in first, if you serious and want enjoy play poker. Play freeroll just make your play screw up and frustrating, too many player play bad there. Choose small poker room and play at MTT with low entries. I suggest Americas Card room ( a lot welcome bonus and first deposit bonus ) or Titan.

I Start in the beginning with freerolls, its a good Option to learn the game and no risk to lost money.
And you had the same Bad players on low or middle stacks tourneys too.
So its not a great different between freerolls or low limits tourneys ,its my meaning.

And its the question how long you play, have you experince or you a complete New to the game.
When you know the game,a deposit are OK.
But when you complete New to the game freerolls or no depsoti offers are OK and how Serpang say when you play with money first small buyins is a good Option.
Many players Start online with tourneys. Its a good way i think.

Unibet have bounty freerolls where you get 2 cent for every player you knock out.

And when you New on the game you must look in what for a game you have the most fun and winnings.
Thats can change when you play longer.
So any players prefer SNG the other Cash or tourneys.A complete player is good in all the games but have the most time one favourite.
So when you have a little bit money you can try other games when you play a little bit longer,to find the right game for you.
Cash game can be very extensive when you Start with playing,so you can lost much money in a short time.
But its on the other site a good Option to win much money, but for Start playing tourneys and sng are the better option to get a little bit experince before you play cash.

And the basic skills are important outs, pot odds,Bankrollmob Management and so on.

You must not know all before you play, when you have fun by playing all its OK,but when you really want build a bankroll you must know these thinks.
In the beginning a few basic skills are ok,the rest you made step by step.

Not very well. When I had time to play more and overall freeroll schedules everywhere was not scarce like they are today it wasnt impossible to grind out a couple hundred dollars every quarter year or so but today you better of building on your own money. Faster too.

I think like watoba, and I did it. Without any learning, I began in Poker Star in 2008 playing in no money games. Replacing the solitaire I found that Poker online was more interest and I won a few millions of play money. So I thought that I could to win real money. I got my first free bankroll ($50) in party poker...and I losted very fast! So I try to learn and started to play freerolls I think it´s a good way

When freerolls were still good during the glory days of online poker it was super easy to get started with just playing those but now much harder and much less option. grinding those can you nauseating at times.

I would always suggest now depositing about 100-200$ to start and play the micro MTT's and S&Gs to death and make your moves from there.

Questions how did you build your bankroll is not good to me, because i can only answer questions about how i lose my bankroll Cool but to start i think it is good to deposit, you can do minimum deposti of 10 dollars and play 0.25 sng it is 40 buyins, small.but many chances

I started with some freeroles and then I've never let my balance go down to $0. Everytime I've made a cashout I've always left at least $5 on my account that I could build up again. This time around tho I probably won't make a cashout and just try to move up in stakes instead. I'm kinda tiered of playing these extreme micro stakes with next to no return.

Anyway, play a game that you know well and use proper bankroll management, then you'll just play good poker and keep on building your bankroll.

It used to be easy as irish already has mentioned, to built a bankroll from scratch,
by only playing freerolls.
You could even make some good cash outs from them in a monthly basis.
Now it is not that easy.
You will need to spend way much more time playing them to get a decent bankroll up and running,
A small deposit, might do the trick faster.

Yes i too think it is good information people say about freerolls that now it is hard to find good freerolls and nit very many of them, so better create bankroll from small amount of deposit. And also like i read in here if make withdraw leave some money in account

The best site to build a bankroll from freerolls is 888 poker and to move up levels for the club tournaments. I am also pretty sure they offer a no deposit bonus as well. It is good to be at the 100 level Big Smile Cool Blink

Three things are conected and could define the way as you play: money, time and knowledge. I only have (not always) a good stock of time, so the freerolls are the central of my playing. I think, as watoba said, that the crazy fishes are in all the lebels since low to medium buy in. So, if you have a big wallet and do not worry about spending several $ 100 bills just to see if you learn something from your failures...go for it! Big Smile

Forget freerolls, they are good to learn the game, if you are New in poker, grind grind grind and bankroll managment, BRM in my opinion is even more important

vix is saying that 888poker is good one, to make a bankroll from scratch, and that it also has
a no deposit bonus.
SO if you are eligible to play there, this is a site to start.
Freerolls along with the no deposit, can built you a good bankroll really fast.

I agree that freeroles really is the way to go if you have the time and patience for it. If I were to build a new bankroll today I would probably start with a no deposit bonus and carefully grow my bankroll from that.

Back in the day it was quite easy to grow a bankroll. There were far more rooms to play at, and nearly every one of them had a no deposit bonus with reasonable terms to clear it. And the casinos had deposit bonuses with terms that made it easy to make money from them. All gone.

Real money tournaments rarely have the kind of donking outs which freerolls have in their first two hours. So no, it's really not the same IMO.
And if you only playing freerolls then how do you know whats going on at real money tourneys?

Bowie my friend, the question of this thread is how you maked your bankroll. So I asumed that it refer at the first bankroll. I don´t know wich is your history, but when I tryed to make my first bankroll I didn´t know to play. So I understand that freerolls is the way for keep your money safe within you learn to play. When I telled about several $100 bill, thinking in sits since $1 to $5 buy in. $100 buy in maybe a suicide for a newie. If you play there you have to know, it isn´t it?
