I'm thinking of placing a little bet on this one. I think Khabib will maul McGregor easily on the ground but I can only get 1.60 odds on party/888 poker. I wonder if other sports betting sites offer better value on Khabib? I thought the odds would be about 50/50 because of the stylistic matchup.
Also, easy money on Alexander Volkov vs Derrick Lewis. Lewis has back problems and barely threw any punches in his last fight

Well, to the untrained eye boxing, muay thai or kickboxing can be boring too. When you don't know the mind games that are going on it's hard to figure out what they're doing/trying to do so the strategic aspect of it is just thrown out the window. It's the same with wrestling and Jiu jitsu but it's even less instinctive. It's really all technique and baiting the other guy to have small openings you can capitalize on.
What I like about this matchup is that Nurmagomedov isn't just a typical american wrestler. He's a Russian Sambo specialist. And Sambo is one of the only grappling arts that uses strikes and submissions too, not just wrestling. Nurmagomedov isn't the type of fighter who just sits on you trying to win a round, he demolishes people with ground and pound while controlling them. I've been watching MMA for over 15 years and I've never seen better ground n pound. If Khabib can get his hands on McGregor without getting knocked out, McGregor is in for a long night. But he has to be careful on the way in. If he doesn't setup his takedowns he's gonna get clipped!

I dont know a lot of MMA,but i have watch a few Videos from Connor,i dont know how old the Videos was but he have made great fights. And i like the irish so i hope Connor will win
it’s quite difficult to judge the winner of this match if Conan can knock out Habib with his boxing blows yes This is one option and the second option Habib with his swift wrestling and methods will flood the ring and strangle there I hope it will be interesting to watch Although it will be 7 am in my city

I personally not like to watch fighting sports, not matter what it is box, karate, wrestling or something else, i not like to see people kick people, aggression, better watch football or basketball. But many people like to watch many sports .of fighting

MMA is not on the greco-roman wrestling level of boredom yet but sometimes it's hard to find good matchups for week in, week out. I would bet the underdog here though. Not that I like McGregor, but his marketability soon become less than zero if he keeps getting beaten by everybody... So, UFC needs him to win in order to be remain a cashcow for them.
I'm not a fan of betting on sports fighting but I also thought it would be a tight match because of a friend told me it would be one so it's surprising that the odds is 1.60. A lot of people did bet on Khabib then.

Never tried a bet before in fighting. Only soccer and basketball. Occasionally a couple in tennis, which all have ended in fail so far so no more tennis. Still trying with joker and lotto,with no luck. At least with betting i was even money if not winning a bit, by following tips and participating in team bets. Thinking to play a few again this year Oh scratch cards was a fail also for me so far, the real paper ones in physical shops

I missed this fight,could watch it,but as I see at internet and in news,khabib deserved to win and everything was on his side!didnt bet anything on this match,dont even know odds,but he showed who is better in this moment and that conor talk to much before match!

Yeah no. MMA isn't staged. These guys truly hated each other and probably still do. McGregor is an a*****e so he's easy to dislike to be honest. I'm happy he got what he deserved and I won some money too The only way you get a rematch vs Mcgregor is if you beat him so we'll see what happens next. Fighting him means biggest payday of your career so it would be dumb for Nurmagomedov to let him win, even if he gets paid a lot of money for it. He would win more by winning.
I don't open posts here very often. When I do, it's because i'm 90% sure of my bet and the odds are great.
Habib certainly won very cool ... MacGregor had no chance ... I watched this fight ... But what Habib did after the fight is of course awful ... you have to restrain yourself ... and now titles can be deprived and no money to pay for this fight .... but he himself is to blame for this ... wait for the decision

Of course i didnt watch the fight but i see that the machine was right searching for higher odds to place a bet. 1.60 is a bit low, but if you are sure enough of the outcome, you can put more money in it. I hope you all got paid well there Congratulations.

we had even fight after match,when khabib jump from octagon and start fight with crowd!it was crazy!he didnt even got belt at octagon!now conor want rematch and who know what will happen in next month!but for sure khabib was better!

Dude, with the whole bus incident, the after fight fiasco and the fact that the next headliner is promoting his fight in the middle of the octagon during this night - the UFC is running WWE level storylines now with written scripts and all that. Maybe the fights are not staged but all the surroundings are fake like hell...
I think the whole conflict was provoked by the organization itself ... in order to stir up interest in the battle .... and all the loud statements and various actions of the pr-campaign only .... this is beneficial only for the organizers .... and the conflict participants themselves gain little from this ... it seems to me

Exactly. The fights aren't staged but everything leading up to the fight is. What happened after the fight is most likely a result of Khabib Nurmagomedov bottling up his emotions for months in front of the disrespectful clown that is the McGregor character. Everyone is human and when the fight ended he lost it when he got insulted again by McGregor's cornerman. McGregor talked s**t about their country, religion ect. maybe it was only to promote the fightmaybe he meant it who knows but they didn't see it that way. McGregor gets people watching because he isn't afraid of drama and he actually is a pretty good fighter, just not good on the ground.
