As a long time Party Poker customer, it is really nice to see them doing well and offering some great sponsorship. I do enjoy my golf and i will be having a few bets with PP on it

This is a better way of advertising their company, than all those sign ups
with ambassadors etc.
Golf is a sport that has many followers and viewers.
Their advertising will be seen all over the planet, with the golf tournament.
Probably costs more than signing up an ambassador, but the results are greater also.

So now I am looking forward to the golf themed promotions coming down the line at PartyPoker. Now that will be something worth having a swing at! There are all sorts of possibilities that get the mind molecules tingling as to what these promotions could be . So good luck to PartyPoker and the golfing world.

Golf is an exciting sport, but i do not understand this connection. Maybe is a very popular sport and is often shown on tv. In this way Party Poker has the advantage of advertisement. If i remember well Tiger Woods won nice money with this sport and sponsors. Good for both sides this collaboration.

It is exactly that, advertisement. And if they had chosen a more popular sport,
the advertisement would have been even better.
But it would have cost more for sure.
Sponsoring a big european soccer team for example, must need tons of money Smile

Have really no idea how a golf tournament benefits to be in partnership with a gambling company since golf tournaments generally doesn't make that much of interest via sportsbetting - at least not compared to NFL, NBA, MLB etc. and party does not affiliate with those.

lot of sports dont have anything with poker, but still poker sites love to be sponsors of them!they probably want to players and fans from this kind of sports and from countries where golf is popular,to try their chance at poker game and to see what they can offer to them!

Is a kind of case like Dolpgh Lundgren which is ambassador of LeoVegas. I have the impression that it will be only for the benefits of golf and for Dolph in case where he is ambassador. If the golf will be able to attract for party poker is very good but i do not believe that. Same with Dolph L. Some new players will attract but many is very hard. I wish them success with their partnerships. Smile

I mean I know these companies are getting betting action on markets involving golf tournaments otherwise they would never offer them in the first place but those who wants to bet on gold already doing it without these advertising outreach.
