Yeah I figured that's what you were referring to Mober and PLO is definitely a good example. As you say I'm sure the number of people playing PLO is quite a bit less than the number of holdem players for sure. The real question: How do you keep them from getting to learn your playstyle?

I always change my style of play in the last 18 months but honestly it is better to play as a good poker player with raises, bluffs and when i catch a good cards to profit and to win as many chips are possible. This can be easy sometimes but most of the time it's hard.

I miss you at all Arithmajik...Whatever, finally chkndinner could you find the password? Was easy, yes? You have to check the other daily tournaments because there are four freerolls with good prizes, a small number of players and a soft field. If you were interested in the Sunday freeroll, you haven`t lost these daily freerolls Blink

I'm not sure what you mean by I miss you at all? In any case I'm pretty sure I understood your other comment at least it made sense to me, if it's what you were intending to say I have no idea. For what it's worth I think your English is fine enough.

Thank for that Arithmajik! My English can be fine, but my eyes need new glasses. Because the comment of Mober was keeping in another page, I didn´t find the sense about talking of PLO. Sorry about that Smile I like to play this format, is really funny to me. But I know that I haven´t the knowledge to bet there, I only play PLO freerolls.

PLO is definitely an interesting game, very unique in it's own way. If you try to play by looking at your hand as two texas holdem hands you'll get your butt kicked at the table. There's just so many more outs and you can't bet hard enough to stop people from chasing them. Fun game. Same though I only free roll PLO.

play Omaha I don’t really like .... I prefer Hold'em ..... I tried to play Omaha but it’s quite difficult for me to evaluate the strength of the cards on my hands .... Of course if I played constantly I would have more experience in this the game .... but I didn’t like it very much initially ... but here’s hold'em This is my game

PLO is, obviously, another game with his own strategy that is different than the Holdem game. The mistake that we, the Holdem players, make is trying to play it like the same game with four cards. (like Arithmajik said) I only scratch the surface of his knowledge but, when I finish my study of SnGs/MTTs I want to learn a bit of it Cool

Yes that is a mistake indeed. There are two many players pushing all in, preflop,
with the same cards they go all in in holdem.
How many times have i seen aces preflop all in getting cracked Smile
Especially in h/l games, this is even worst move.

if last year in gray snow poker there was one password for all exclusive tournaments .... then this year the passwords are completely different ... and You have to look for them in different forums .... To take part in the freeroll for 200 or 300 dollars .... and since this is this poker room is not very popular to search for passwords is quite difficult Aww crap!

So truem rooms with smaller numbers of players increase the odds dramatically in one's favour, so the newer startup poker rooms probably the best bet for freerolls and startup bankrolls Cool

Yes, I think that the "freeroll way" is better than tournaments in Grey Snow Poker. There are a lot of difference between the ratio players/prizes, and the prizes of freeroll and tournament with Buy-In. You can play a freeroll of $ 50 prizes with 150 players, and you have to pay $ 3 to play a tourney of $ 30 with 60 players Confused

now I rarely play gray snow poker .... And before the New Year I played there quite often ... and I played in tournaments with an entrance fee .... and there were really very few players ... so quite often I was there at the final table ..and won these tournaments several times

And why you leave it? I was missing you in the tables of the daily freerolls. I play often the third and fourth of them (in my -3 GMT, are 20:00 and 23:00 hs). These are a good tournament with no more than 200 players, and I arrived frequently In The Money, but I don´t win one of them yet...but I keep trying! Blink

Are you abandoned Grey Snow Poker pajalnick? We have to find a new room to meet us in a table. We can enjoy playing and then we can chat about the tournament. We might learn something valuable with it, don´t you think? I´m playing too little in all the rooms, but the freerolls are too attractive to me! Smile
