Police have identified a 49-year-old man who was shot and killed by police during a gunfight as he attempted to escape a Friday night heist at the Bellagio poker room last week. It really looks like that this guy was a career criminal and he has eventually paid the ultimate price for these crimes. I am glad that he was apprehended because he was never going to stop doing this and innocent people were going to be killed before long

In this case, in 2017 the police were not professional and did not manage to do the job well. Normally, they would have to look for the suspect in the police files, where they had offenders who were accused of robberies. This man had a criminal record from 1999 to 2008 and the police have not been vigilant at all in this case. Because of this he managed to hurt another man and terrorize others. Sad

He couldnt do it more obvious, that having the same clothes and even the
bandages on his face?
And he managed to escape the first time robbing the casino,
he thought he would be doing this every year?
Some people and their brains....

when you doing things like this for so many years, you dont care what can happen in situations with police and how this can end!so you knewt that one time this can be and that somebody can be killed!he died on way that he lived and now everybody can have peace!

You'd think a casino like the Bellagio would utilize the most advanced technology, like facial recognition, and an eye in the sky would have spotted this robber entering the casino and alerted security staff that an individual who previously robbed the place and probably had a lifetime ban had just entered.

Judging by the number of crimes in which this person is accused, he really was an incorrigible criminal ... for whom crimes were routine .... And for him there were no restrictions .... Therefore, he was just shot dead is a logical result of his criminal career ... And differently And could not be ... or a prison for life or death

Is this story just another tale of the inadequacies of law enforcement, not just typical in the US but across the modern world. Here we have a known criminal, easily identifiable from the 2017 CCTV images, yet he was not apprehended. Yes he was caught and killed on this occasion, but how many other crimes has he been able to commit in the intervening time? It looks like the PD have some questions to answer over the 2017 job!

we all know that in america there is no jokes with police and that you can be shot for every thing, especially when you have gun!if you dont listen them and still have gun in hands, ofcourse you will finish with your life!but he knewt that in some points of life this will come!

I agree with you ... in the USA If you do not fulfill the requirement of the police, and even more so if you have a weapon in your hands, then you are very much at risk of dying on the spot .... on the one hand, this is certainly good for preventing crimes .... But I have also heard many times about the mistakes of the police and about the killed innocent people .... 2 sides of the same coin

Crime does not pay, lol... If only you could make these things as a government entity - robbing people and institutions from they well earned money. Welp, imagine if that would happen (it already happened, lol). Rest in peace robber guy, was it worth it?

in america if you just try to take something from pocket, you can be shot and they will say that they couldnt know what could you have in pocket!but this guy knewt that this can happen when we go in operation like this, especially with gun and that was risk that he was will to take!

A couple of points here!

Firstly, to confuse this man with an innocent bystander who gets shot is ludicrous!

Secondly, when innocents do get shot by the authorities in the US, this is as a direct result of the US gun laws which allow for such appalling incidents to take place. If you allow people to walk around freely with weapons, then of course they will get shot. If you want to stop this happening....take away the right to carry a weapon. Its so simple. Rights or no rights, they can be taken away....regardless of some lame interpretation of a constitutional right!

This man who tried to kill people he was not innocent. When you try to kill someone it's clear, you are not innocent but you are an unscrupulous man who tries to kill without thinking. This kind of people who trying to kill for some money are people who should be imprisoned for life. Blink

good as they always say never lose the skill, and if I already steal one before and he likes me I do not think he would leave so easily ... I never understood why stealing is easier than having to work and earn decently silver but stealing you have many risks like going to jail or worse to die Confused Confused Confused

That man could live if he did not choose the option to shoot with the gun. It is possible that he was at the third conviction and that would have meant for him life imprisonment. In this way he could commit suicide but he chose to kill innocent people. This is devoid of honor, is disgraceful. Sad
