I like PLO and Hi/Lo especially in a tournament format with no re-buys but I doubt this new series will have games in my buyin range or anything under the category of small stakes but one could only hope for sure...

These tournaments are awaited by many players. I do not know why but many love this Omaha game. It's a nice game but with many cards against hold'em poker and that means, it is even harder from my point of view. I think that is the reason and people love this game.

It's not harder per se, but definitely require a lot more playing time to be able to call yourself just remotely skilled in it - compared to hold'em - even on microstakes...

yes I too like this news, becaused I more like to play Omaha and like bowie to I most like Omaha hi/lo version, I played this some time before when play in pokerstars software, and in arty poker it is not a good place to play Omaha hi/lo, Omaha regular version is for me too big risk

There are going to be a lot of entries for this series and the guaranteed prize pool should be exceeded. Omaha is a fantastic game but i have always struggled with it and i salute the players who make a living out of it

And something that we dont see often. Tournaments with omaha games.
Omaha hi/lo is my favorite game. But i even prefer Omaha than a holdem game.
And playing a tournament is more fun.
Good to see that they are promoting this.
It must be a happy note for all the omaha fans in party poker Smile

You have to think more about this hands in Omaha and this is what i wanted to say. This does not bother on other players and this game is successful in some poker rooms. I played a few times and it's beautiful but you have to think more. I need to see if there are any more exciting games to play and to remember the hands which i do not understand.

To say this series starts on Sunday, there is not a great deal of information available about it at all. While the Omaha series appears as a filter option in the lobby, there are no tourneys listed yet for the series and therefore no real appreciation of what it’s going to look like. The PartyPoker website says more info will follow! There are PLO tourneys at all ranges of buy in at PartyPoker but the prize pool is often lower than for a comparative Holdem game. Good luck to everyone who plays.

How is this possible. Was something that came up the last minute,
and there is not much info about it?
Series like this need a great deal of advertising, and need to be up for quite some time.
It is not a holdem game, which means less participation.
Probably that is the reason for the lower prizes, as you are mentioning.

Partypoker Omaha Series will be available to players from Sunday, 28th April to Sunday, 5th May 2019. Do not be scared, if these tournaments have not been canceled, then they will appear in the lobby these days. It's not easy because the awards are 2 millions of dollars and probably is working on prizes. You have time to register. That is not the problem. If the tournaments are canceled then will be for various reasons.
