Hello. Here is what happened to me. I registered to a new opening poker room, won a freeroll and a few sit & go tournaments and wanted to cash out some of my money. There start all of my problems, scanned ID, bills... I sent them everything they want, but still no money. But yesterday happened something very interesting. The support of the site sent me a copy of someone else's ID with the identical names as mine, but only that is the common thing between us. Are the poker rooms allowed to share with other people the personal information we send them to verify our accounts?? I think this is forbidden! Can we proceed with a law suit against this company for sharing the personal information?
I don't think they acted against the law. Perhaps they wanted to show you that the person with your name, surname, country is playing here. Perhaps there is something esle common (may be ip ). I don't know that. So what poker room was it? Perhaps you just shouldn't play there.

Actually that is exactly my question. As i remember according the international laws, they are not allowed to share personal info under any sircumstances... But not really sure. That's why i ask.
If they sent me ID of someone else, what else could they have done with mine or yours...
it's the first time in my life I've see such issue, damn it's really a big problem. Sure, it's against the law... but I think you should ask why they're doing that and what's they're expecting. Anyway I think it's very dangerous to sign up at new poker rooms with new network because of problems like this or others. I remember that I signed up at a poker room which closed down and took every body's money, I lost $24 but a friend who bought a skin from the network lost much and a lot more.
Don't know if this behaviour is against law in your country. In Italy we have a lot of things wrong but there is a law to protect you and your personal data: without your authorization no one can collect, save and show personal informations. Any way I don't think is correct what they did
