Finland has a very interesting national game named pesapallo. Pesapallo has some features from American baseball, but pesapallo is much more interesting and faster game than baseball.

I heard about this game through Eurosport tv channel and have been reading something before commenting, and, although i dont know any of them, looks like Joensuu is the best in the tournament. One of the portuguese bets site gives them the lowest odd, which means you will win small if you bet little, so they should be favourites. Urray for Joensuu, whoever those are! (But at least i followed BRM rules and made a conscious vote)

Never heard before now but if bookmakers, as Fakiry says, think Joensuu is favourite surely they have several reason to do it...... so hurra for jouensuu #2

Well it's hard to predict who will win because the future is always uncertain. But there is nothing wrong if i guess who will win. I have voted for Koskenkorva. Let's see who wins.

Do not know the game but have found some video's on the net so will have a look at them later. Just had a look on Betfair and I can not find a market for the game on there.

You can play pesapallo bets for example on Unibet.
Thanks.
But you say in an early post that the game is only play'd in Finland. But I just found this:
Pesäpallo is a Finnish variation of baseball developed by Lauri "Tahko" Pihkala in Finland around 1920. It's based on the basic of baseball but pesäpallo it's a much faster, entertaining and a more tactical sport, that can be played by everyone. Pesäpallo is the national sport of Finland but is also played in many other countries such as Germany, Sweden, Switzerland, Australia, Japan and Canada.

Watched a quick vid on youtube, bit of a strange game, are they not allowd to wack the ball out of the grounds, and the celebrations are kinda strange, bit to over excited. The yellow team was beating the blue team, I go for yellow.

OK, I knew that but I think pesapallo is played in other countries like a hobby - not like a real competition. There was a small tournament (world cup) in Finland this summer where was some other countries participating... http://www.pesis.fi/world_cup_2009/
