On thursday I'm going to a casino for the first time. I'm only taking like 50€ with me so I was wondering what games you usually play at a casino and if it's profitable, do you use a certain strategy and brm or do you go just for fun and to lose some money. I would normally be playing some live poker but I'm having some issues with my bank at the moment so I can't buy in for a decent amount (that explains the 50€ .
I know the min. bet for Blackjack is 2€ so I think that's to high for the money I'm bringing in.
So any tips, toughts or strategy's would be very helpfull. Thx
Belgie of Holland ones? Its been a while i went to brussels casino or Oostende, but u can play the NL tables there with 50€ buy-in i think. I usually go go to Breda or valckenburgh in Holland. 50€ is easily gone Blackjack u need 100 mimimum to get some decent start Roulette : no good Slots? = but then u need reload 9/10 with slots. Punto Banco : No good for U
Not so many options, maybe try to reserve a seat at the lowest stakes for Poker, maybe limit ( consider it) and hen u reach some higher amount go play something else if U want to experience some more casino

Iv only ever been to casinos on work doos, The key is to have FUN, not many ppl win at casinos but there is normally a great atmosphear. BJ is your best chance. no strategy's its all luck. So make sure you have fun.
yeah I'm going to Breda, minimum buy in is 50€ at 400nl. I think I'm just gonna play some BJ and video poker if they have it hehe. I hope I win some but if I lose I hope I have fun while losing it.

i would recommend to play poker is you want to make some profit. To have fun i would choose black Jack, but you have to know that it is more likely to loose the money.

if you can't effort it just stay away from the casino , espacilly with 50 euro , the only thing you can do is play red or black at the roulette and hoping that you have made the correct choise .

I usualy dont play at casinos to win, just for fun, but some times i end up doubling my entering money (20€ to 40€ which is not bad at all. Go look for some old ladies grabbed at a slot for more than half an hour, always puting more credits, or try to look how much did they invested (usually they put 500€, dont win a thing and go away when its over). If you get to sit in a slot after one of the old ladies leave, your probabilities will be big. Happened to me a couple of times and i have friends who tell me the same story. Once the old ladies "tired up" the slot, playing a lot with a lot of money without cashing out a cent, the next time the slot takes money it will be ready to spill it out. This is my strategy! Goog hein?
Since it's my first time in a casino I don't want to walk in with 500 - 1k€ without ever having played any of those games live. Oh well, I hope I get lucky on the red and black roulette .

normally a great atmosphere ?? What casinos do you go to lol ??
Everytime I've been in a casino the atmosphere is morbid.
I used to work at the Harrah's casino back in the states and from my experience a casino should be viewed as no more than as if you were going out to eat a meal, watch a movie at the cinema, or going to the pub with a bunch of friends. My point being, don't play with money you don't have and don't expect to walk away with a new career as a pro. Expect the money you bring to be gone when you leave because that is just it. It's all just a form of entertainment. So when you go to the pub, you don't get rakeback on your drink. When you buy 4 - 5 they may give you one for free. Then you stay and by another 4 and then get 1 more free. Getting those 2 free make you feel like you got something out of what you spent so you stay longer. My advise is try everything and when you find something you like to play then you willl have fun. Very few people can make money at this for a career, working in the casino I have seen so many people that I thought were great and wondered how they do it. But in the long run I started to see how they did. The truth is they didn't, they had great paying jobs or they owned a business and going to the casino was how they enjoyed their money. Even they never ended up ahead and new it. Some know it and still end up going broke in the end trying to win back what they lost. When they were broke and had no money, they could always get a comp for a free meal at the casino for the thousands they lost at the tables. Also remember, playing online is much different than playing in the casino, people won't have their poker software to help them out so they don't play as good as they do from home. They won't have their stats from tracking software and won't have the odds calculators to give them the edge. It's just face to face. The house is the one that ends up with the money in the long run and just remember that and you will have fun when you go. I'm not saying it can't be done, but the odds are already stacked against you way before you even walk thru the door. So have fun and hope this helps.

i understand it's the first time that you will go 2 a casino and with a small amount of money but still don't believe that you will be able to play a lot of games and have a lot of fun with your 50 euro . Hopefully i am wrong . Anyway , make the best of it and double up .
what a disapointment that was Since my problems with my moneybookers account had been solved I was able to get a little bit more cash so I woudln't be sure to suck out. I went in with 500€ my sister with 250€. Normally enough to get a lot of fun in the casino I think. When we arrived the only thing we could see where slots, slots and more slots, the smell was terrible alcohol and sweat, and just the faces of these desprerite people waiting to hit the jackpot, I almost felt kind of sad for these addicts. We arrived at the Blackjack tables and the roulette and stuff, only one table of BJ was openend and 2 roulette tables. Min bet was 50€ !!!!!!!!!!!! I asked one of the dealers (who was just wandering around) when the table with 10€ would open, he said "I don't know". On the website it is stated that the minimum bets range from 2€ to 200€ I think, but they just don't bother to open a table. I just went home and started to play some online poker They won't see me at that place again, believe me, it was a BIG dissapointment. I understand it is good to play poker, but as a casino it SUCKS! .
