Graphics & Sound
Texa$ Tea™ is designed to look like an old classic cartoon. The game window is simple, clear and easy to navigate. The colours are plenty but still very easy on the eyes. There are some very nice graphic effects in this slot game. For example, when you hit the Big Oil Bonus, the whole game window will be flooded by oil before you are taken to the bonus game.
The music and sound effects in Texa$ Tea™ are also very fun. It’s a mix between some jolly music and a full spectrum of Texas slang. It’s pretty funny actually. You will hear a lot of “Let’s get down to business” and that sort of lingo.
The graphics and sound is 100% in consistency with the theme of this game.
Game Symbols
All symbols in this slot machine are related to either Texas or the oil industry. The low value symbols are different symbols of flowers and cactuses. You will also see cows, airplane and armadillos on the reels.
The scatter symbol is a face icon of the character, Texas Ted. Scatter wins are multiplied by the total number of credits played. Only the highest scatter win is paid on each game.
The bonus symbol is the oil rig. If 3, 4 or 5 of them appears on an active pay line, you will trigger the BIG OIL BONUS feature.
Gamble Feature
As soon as you have won a spin win on the reels, you will have the opportunity to gamble your win. This is done by clicking on the Gamble button which is located in the lower right part of the game window.
Once you have initiated your gamble, you will be taken to a new game window where your aim is to predict the colour of the next drawn card, red or black. If you are successful in your prediction, your win is doubled and you may collect the winnings or continue to gamble again. If your prediction is unsuccessful, your winnings are lost and you will be returned to the reels.
Bonus Feature
If 3, 4 or 5 oil rig symbols appear on an active pay line, the Big Oil Bonus is triggered. The more bonus symbols that trigger the bonus – the richer the bonus feature will be.
Once the bonus feature starts, the screen shakes, rumbles, and gushes geysers of oil as it transitions to a map of the state of Texas divided into eight regions. Your aim is to choose which regions you want to place an oil derrick. If you triggered the bonus with three oil derrick symbols, then you will have three oil derricks to place. Similarly, if you triggered the bonus with four or five oil derrick symbols, then you will have four or five oil derricks to place, respectively. You can only place one oil derrick per region. If you place an oil derrick on a region, but then wish to change your mind, simply click on that region again to remove that oil derrick, and then pick another region.
Once you have placed your last oil derrick, then the oil pumping action begins! Oil spurts from each of your derricks at various intervals, starting and stopping multiple times, all the while increasing your bonus awards. You never know when an oil well might still produce an unexpected burst of oil worth more money for you.
