The Main Event of EPT London has been one of the most interesting and exciting tournaments for a quite some time. Especially for those who have followed the World Champion and PokerStars Pro Peter Eastgate and his amazing comeback in the tournament.

Peter Eastgate had to fight really, really hard to make it to Day 3 of the tournament. But during Day 3 he showed everyone that it takes more than luck to become the World Champion as he played fantastic poker throughout the day. Thanks to his great play in Day 3 he had now built up a quite big stack and was on 10th place out of 24 remaining players.

In Day 4 of the tournament he continued playing great (if not even better?) and is now one of the 8 players that will be playing the final table today. Peter Eastgate will bring 3,535,000 chips with him to the final table. He's closely followed by Martin Gudvangen who has 3,510,000. On first place we find Aaron Gustavson (Online Qualifier) with twice as much chips as Martin Gudvangen and Peter Eastgate. But, Martin is in another hand not even close to as experienced as Peter Eastgate when it comes to playing a final table with cameras all around, and people all over the world watching every single move you make. It will be very interesting final table to watch today!

1. Aaron Gustavson 7.140.000
2. Peter Eastgate 3.535.000
3. Martin Gudvangen 3.510.000
4. Nikolai Senninger 2.175.000
5. Dominic Cullen 2.105.000
6. Raymond Wu 1.535.000
7. Rui Milhomens 1.100.000
8. Karim Bennani 845.000

The final table will start at 13:00 CET (07:00 ET) today and you can watch it LIVE by clicking here

Go Eastgate! I'm happy he has made another final table, I think he deserves that.
I'm sure he eill be between the top 3, and if he has some luck, will win the EPT.

I gotta be honest and say that I thought he was a bit of a luck box at the 2008 wsop but recent results are proving me wrong.

well done 'icegate' :/

Sure, the results are proving us wrong, he's definitely one of the best at this very young age... so still more to come from. He took 2nd BTW in this event Thumbs Up

Hehe I tried to tell you(as in plural) back then. It's hard to make a living at NL5K HU as a luckbox Cool

peter has shown his doubters he got talent and he's here to stay for a long time.
Gustavson had double the chips and played very well to win the title considering he got through a qualifier

And Rui Milhomens is still rocking with his portuguese poker at the final table! Thats the way to go! Show them what portuguese poker players are made of! Best of luck to you Rui!

Eastgate was my banker for this tourny I was sure he would win but second place is better than a slapped face .
I'm sure he'll do well in the WSOP after soooo many good finish's he;s worth a punt early on to get the best odds.

haha, I was watching WSOP 09 ME today and saw something really interesting... Hansen came to Eastgate table and said that the best main event player is sitting right here... Worship Eastgate is simply a very good tournament player and I think he'll explode the ranking of total money won... Big Smile
