The American, Aaron Gustavson, won his seat to EPT London through an online satellite at PokerStars. But well in the Main Event he showed that he's not only a great online poker player, but also great at playing poker live. He had twice as much chips as Peter Eastgate (2nd place) and Martin Gudvangen (3rd place) as the Main Event Final Table of EPT London started, and this big lead he had no plans to let go off.

It came to be Aaron Gustavson and Peter Eastgate who stayed in the lead all the way to heads-up. At this moment, Aaron, had twice as much chips as Eastgate. But as we all know, Peter Eastgate, has a lot of experience when it comes to televised final tables when the pressure is on top. However, Aaron, managed to remain calm, and it took him no time to knock out his final opponent (Peter Eastgate).

This is how the final hand was played
Aaron Gustavson picked up A-Q and and Peter Eastgate picked up A-9. Both players went all-in pre-flop. Neither of the players did hit anything on flop, turn and river. This was still enough for Aaron Gustavson to take home the pot with his queen kicker card.

Final table results:

Aaron Gustavson (USA) - £850 000
Peter Eastgate (Denmark) Pro - £530 000
Nikolai Senninger (Germany) - £285 000
Martin Gudvangen (Norway) - £227 000
Dominic Cullen (UK) - £173 000
Rui Milhomens (Portugal) - £124 000
Raymond Wu (Taiwan) - £87 000
Karin Bennani (France)- £50 100

What a awfull ending. Well it's good to see Eastgate cashing a big prize again. I think too much pressure was over his shoulders after winning the main event.

Congratulations to him because he won the most important EPT event.
Lots of strong players and champions but he was able to win.

For Plexo: maybe should Eastegate wait for a better hand but when you are in a heads up for final prize you have to take some risks and push

i think gustavon did very well, getting through a qualifier, maintaining a chip lead in late stages with all experienced players around and he knocked out most of the players on final table too.

Aaron Gustavson, good job! What will you do with this amount of money? Blink But to be honest that I was really good tournament. I enjoy watching it and I guess nobody would not disagree with me. Again, good job, Gustavson!

Dame shame I had a side bet with a pal that peter eastgate would win this leg but it looks like my head won over normal poker sense so i'll be paying up...soon I thunk i'll try to get a double or quits..haha

Congratulations to Rui Milhomens, the best place ever achieve by a portuguese player in an international real tourney. €130K is something to remember! About the final hand between Aaron and Eastgate, nothing to say, both did what they had to do to try and win the tourney, and it went better to Aaron.
