November 9 countdown - 3 days: Jeff Shulman

Jeff Shulman, 34, was born and bred in Seattle, Washington and later on in life he moved to Las Vegas, where he's still living today with his wife and child. Jeff's biggest interests are golf, poker, and his job as editor for a big poker magazine, which his dad is the CEO of. But it's not from playing golf, or his job as an editor that has made him rich and famous.

Made millions from playing poker
When Jeff started playing poker in 3rd grade at summer camp, he probably couldn't even dream of how successful he would become in poker some years after. Jeff became a good all-round player, but especially good at playing live poker tournaments, and it's from that he has built a fortune. In total he has won over $2,4 millions from different events in EPT, WPT, WSOP etc. Even though he has made so much money from different live tournaments, he has only won 1 major tournament.

November 9
In 3 days, when the Main Event Final Table kicks off, Jeff Schulman is on 5th place with 19,580,000. Jeff is one of the most experienced players on the final table, and also one of the finalists with the self-esteem. He will be a big threat that probably Phil Ivey tries to avoid playing bigger pots against. If Jeff Schulman takes home the tournament on Saturday; it will be very interesting to see whether or not he keeps the WSOP bracelet. Earlier this year Jeff made it clear that he was really disappointed on how the 2009 WSOP events have been organized and that he will throw away his bracelet if he takes home the whole tournament. All this in order to make a statement that he hope will improve WSOP in the future.

-" I love poker and signed up for the main event with hopes to win the tournament. But now the most important thing is to make the branch stronger and better for the players. And for that to happen, big improvements needs to be done"; says Jeff Schulman.

Throw away his bracelet, well he said it so I guess he will do it, lets face it 1st place is 8.5+mill, do you think he cares much about a 5k max bracelet.

I voted for Ivey in a poll here at BRM, but I forgot about Jeff throwing his bracelet away if he wins. Now I want him to win to see the reactions from the organizers of the WSOP events and see what actions they take. Could get interesting if he throws it away and starts to talk some S**T

Ok, well he's obviously not going to make that mistake again. Big Smile As for winning it? It depends on what cards he gets dealt early on. If he doubles up early he'll have a huge chance.
