A winner has been crowned in the first Asian Poker Tour event of the year which was held in the capital of the Philippines, Manila. A total of 262 poker players from around the world had come to participate in this event and the total price pool was $635 000.
After 3 days of play it was Neil Arce from the Philippines that ended up winning the tournament after beating Steven Yea in the final heads up game. This victory gave Arce the first price of $185 000.
Another player that reached the final table was Liz Lieu but she went out in 7th place which paid $22 000.
