Now there are only 9 players left in the main event of LAPT Punta del Este. In the lead we find the Norwegian Karl Hevroy with an amazing stack of 1,079,000 chips. Almost double the chips of the other eight players.
Karl Hevroy bought in straight to the main event for $3500+$200 and was never a player that anyone probably though would have a chance of making it to the final table since he was quite short stacked compared to the other players in the tournament. But during Day 2 of the main event he probably played the best poker of his life and turned his quite small stack into massive 1,079,000 chips. Now he has almost double the chips as any of the other 8 remaining players on the final table. Left in the tournament are also 2 PokerStars online qualifiers, Oliver Rowe from Canada and Ronald Wasiel from USA.
The final table begins in Uruguay at 14:00 local time today and will continue until a winner I crowned.
