Erik couldn't get anything going and decided to go all-in with a flush draw versus a pair of 9's. No luck for Erik as the pocket 9's stood up and he had to leave the tournament on a 6th place. Alexandre Gomes VS Faraz Jaka
Faraz was the chip leader when the final table begun and Alexandre Gomes had least chips. Now they were suddenly the 2 last men standing. Gomes had a slight chip lead over Jaka when the heads-up began. However, it was a very tight game in the beginning, but after a while Gomes increased his chip lead over Jaka and nothing could stop him now. In the final hand both players went all-in preflop, Jaka with A-7 and Gomes with A-J. The table ran out with no hit for any of the players and Gomes took home the pot and the tournament with his jack kicker. This is Alexandre Gomes first WPT title.
