According to Ilari "Ziigmund" Sahamies latest blog update, it seems like he hasn't lost as much money as many poker sites have claimed in the past few months. We have heard of figures between 2-5 million dollars, but according to Ziigmund, who partly admits that he has lost a lot of money because of playing bad, he has lost about $1 million dollars. If this is true, it probably means that Ziigmund has been successful in different live games and maybe he's also playing with fake aliases on different poker sites?

"This year hasnt been as good it should be,I think Im down like a million...and Gus...dont say I should be more losing.I think I have been unlucky but I have played very bad also....in drunk...in hangover...and tilting etcetc...now I take small break and come back to smaller games...I try Smile Lets see what happens," Ziigmund writes in his latest blog update.

"I think I have been unlucky but I have played very bad also....in drunk...in hangover...and tilting." If he plays it so I want him to play: D. Buy him a liter of Johnnie Walker and play: D.

hes down around 1 million and hes acting as if hes down 1k only, lmao
he must have earned lots from live games and sponsorships to cover a large part of his losses. but hes playing small games now , maybe he doesnt hav money to play high stakes anymore

I dont think he is broke, but last years losses made a big damage on Ziigmunds image. I think he won big money playinf black jacks online too, maybe thats why he assumes he doesnt lost so much money.

hehehe, well Zigmund... i just saw him play once or twice. De wasn´t too special but i think he can play a lot of good poker.

I don't think too that he's broke. But Zigmund must don't drink before to play. By the way, as a great man said: a poker player is not a pro until he went broke until three times. Sure if go broke at high stakes 3 times means to live under a bridge lol. He's a great poker player but undisciplined and this means that sometimes goes well and others badly. Take back Ziig!!
