The BankrollMob & Party Poker WSOP promotion has ended. Around 1500 players managed to "scratch their way" via our daily WSOP scratch game, into one of the daily qualifiers. From the daily qualifiers, 162 players qualified to our "Main WSOP Tournament" which was played yesterday, June 6th.
The last player standing was Manuela from Bremen, Germany. Also known as Mama63 on BankrollMob. She won the $14,000 WSOP ticket and will be going to Las Vegas soon for the WSOP Main Event.
We asked Manuela a few questions just minutes after she won the tournament, here are the answers as translated from German...
For how long have you been playing online poker and how "good a player" would you rate yourself as being?
"I learned poker from my son and I have played for over two years. Now, against my son, I win more often than I lose I still believe I have a lot to learn though, and I'm not yet able to profit from poker. I'm more of a tournament player than cash game."
Regarding tonights final tournament. Try to tell us a little bit about what thoughts went through your head in that last hand.
"Preflop: His A 8 was stronger than my Q 10."
Then the flop came 10, 7, 9.
"Flop: I just thought that my Q10 wasn't too bad, even when he holds an ace."
Turn and river came 8, 2.
"River: Lo and behold, he had no luck on the river this time and here I am in my house, screaming and jumping for joy and rejoice!"
Did you at any time in this final tournament feel that you were not going to make it or was there a specific time where you felt you had really good chances of actually winning the whole thing?
"Since the beginning there was a few hands where I was lucky my opponent didn't call my raises, so I could stay in the tournament. Later, everything just went my way and I was able to read my opponents well, when they bluffed and when I had to re-raise. Then it became my poker night! "
Will you be going to Las Vegas or will you try to talk to Party Poker about exchanging your ticket to something else?
"I intend to try my luck in Las Vegas. I look forward to this unique experience at the biggest live poker tournament in the world."

I was going for the same! but well 300k GTD is quite good also guys I tried to change my ticket for T$ (tournament dollars), but they didnt accept, even if Im going to generate rake! :/
@ Pitiless same here ... i tried but you cant ... only if you have 2 tickets the same ... then the second turns into tournaments money and you can register to any SNG and MTT . we just have to play and pray for some luck

that's right, post ur results later, but attention you won for 300k GTD, dont join their bad 200K GTD tourney!
Good job, hope you will do well in Vegas, still some time to read some books about live poker, maybe it can help you. Hope you take it down, then you do even better then chris moneymaker with his 2 dollar satellite But the first goal should be cashing, and even if you don't cash, it will be a nice holyday Good luck!!
