Yesterday the final table of the €5300 PLO event of WSOP Europe in the the LE Cannes Croisette Casino was set, and in a big lead was Sam Trickett who's won over $3 million dollars this year. But things didn't go so well for British poker pro on the final table and he quickly ran out of chips and was eliminated in 4th place - a very disappointing result for Sam Trickett and his fans.

Steve Billirakis, from Las Vegas, started the final table second in chips and he never, ever seemed phrased or in danger during the entire final table. In no-time Billirakis took control of the final table and knocked out Jerome Bradpiece and Ramzi Jelassi before playing heads-up with Michele Di Lauro. Di Lauro didn't have a chance against Billirakis who took home almost every single pot. It didn't take long before Billirakis had all the chips and was the last man standing. For the win he received nothing less than €238,140!

Final table results:

1. Steve Billirakis €238 140
2. Michele Di Lauro €147 171
3. Ramzi Jelassi €105 937
4. Sam Trickett €77 642
5. Jerome Bradpiece €57 912
6. Konstantin Uspenskiy €33 922
7. Erich KoIlmann €26 610
8. Sam Chartier €21 221
9. Eoghan O'Dea €17 190

And i thought Trickett would win. And everyone was giving advantage to Jelassi. And after all, the 2nd place in the begining of the final table took advantage of the messi game Trickett was having, and he did well beating Jelassi before HU. Then, he just had to keep controling, like a good chip manager, and win this fortune.

I must admt that i don't have any info about this player, not sure if he is a lie player or he also plays online...

Still, congratulations for his win considering the competition was pretty serious on this event, plus as we all know PLO is very complex game Smile
