Groupe Bernard Tapie hires expert to close Full Tilt deal

According to a new report on Gamaing Intelligence, Groupe Bernard Tapie has hired the same lawyer who negotiated the Party POker/DoJ and Neteller/DoJ settlemens. The agreement between Full Tilt Poker and Groupe Bernard Tapie is reportedly subject to "several conditions", and the most import condition is a good resolution with the United States Department of Justice.

Even though the involved people are working day and night to get Full Tilt Poker back online, it might take a long time before the poker site is up and running again. Well, according to some rumors, Full Tilt Poker might reopen by January 2012 if everything goes according to plan.

This group made well in hiring the same lawyer of other poker related cases, because they have more experience in the subject. I believe the deal with the United States Department of Justice, which they say is the hardest, is resumed to one single point: New FTP owners will have to agree with everything that will be defined by them (new tax values, regular presentation of acount balances, things like that… Blink. This is all positive. When they restart working, they will be the most guarded of all poker rooms and players will feel safe returning back there, which means lots of money coming back in! But having conditions to reopen as quick as next January, seems too fast for me, dont blame me, im from a country where no justice case is solved in less than 4 years (and i am being nice Blink).

closest expected deadline is January 2012, still 3 months left in that.
such a shame player hav to wait so long for their money, and who knows if they will reach a compromise or US govt will decide to screw all the poker players.

There is no other way than wait and see what will happen.
Hopefully everybody will get their money one day and FT will restart with a new and trustful management.

I hope that they'll be able to reopen the site this year, i'm sure many will play with their froezen bankrolls if they can't withdraw money...

Anyway it will be very hard to gain the trust of the former players again...

Still, the situation for the us players could improve from what i see.
