Another session, as a part of the durrrr challenge, between Tom "durrrr" Dwan and Daniel "Jungleman12" Cates was played the other day at Full Tilt. The session (15) lasted for about 6 hours and they manage to play 2900 hands, which means that more than 17,000 of 50,000 hands have been played.

Anyhow, it was Daniel Cates, the biggest winner online last year, who dominated this session and took $318,000 from Tom Dwan. This means that Daniel Cates increased his lead to $819,213.

I watched this session for one hour. I was surprised that Cates is more aggresive then Dwan. He raised and reraised almost every hand.

Cates is conquering his way in the middle of the best. I can only find a negative point in all this: next time he goes for a big tourney, everyone will know him and it will be even harder to make the way till the final tables. Everyone likes to knock out a big one, and everyone will try to do that to him next time!

Dwan is getting a masterclass at a great price, he should actually be down around 1.5 mill, but as luck has it he made a few rivers aginst Cates big hands and used Cates agresion aginst him, so altho he got lucky he played them well.
@Nikitalucia Tom says you can have this one he made earlier...

300k from 2900 hands is good but still only 17,000 hands played and the way they are playing it might not finish before mid of this year ( if it finishes )

I dont think that is true. I think getting all of this notoriety will help him in the lives tournments. Everybody will look at him as a shark, and he will getmore respect for his bluffs, because the notoriety brings respect and thats what he needs to be ahead of the concorrence.

BTW i dont like that much this player, i heard in some sites that he has been colluding at that tables with urnotindanger. Dont know if its really true, but if its true doesnt surprise me at all.
