WPT Venice starts today

Today it's time for another stop on the World Poker Tour. This time it's Venice turn to be the host and hand out cash prizes of millions euros. The most interesting events at 2011 WPT Venice will of course be the Main Event with a €3000+€300 buy-in and the High Roller event with €10,000 buy-in.

We will keep you up to date on both these events, from begin to end. Let's hope for many participants (hopefully some big names), huge prize pools and lots of exciting hands!

Most of participants will be big names, experienced players and lots of well known faces from the poker world. Who will be the crazy guy that will take part in the €3.300 buy-in tourney against the best of the best? Who will be the rich guy that will offer his kid or nephew the buy-in to this event, like a birthday gift or something, just because "he once said he loves to play this game on the net and behaves very well there..." I know some here in Portugal that have already entered in some real casino tourneys this way, but we are talking about €500 buy-in, not €3300...(which i consider a lot of wasted money in the same). I dont know if i would accept something like this if someone wanted to sponsor me...

I'm sure we will follow this interesting event. By the way, Fakiry, why do you always repeat the text twice in a post. It's very strange but I see the same pattern in all of your posts ... Confused

think it will be great show becouse big names try again to show them skills on poker hope not pokerstars team pro will win it maybe againt F tilt pros clear the table and win the 1 -st place

DaMessiah, i believe i am suffering of some kind of bug through the PC from where i write. This never happened before a month ago. I don't know why. I do everything the same way: write and click post and then i see it repeated...
