PokerStars announced a few days ago that Eugene Katchalov has joined its team. Eugene Katchalov is a 30-year-old american with routs in Ukraine. He has won over $6 million dollars in different live tournaments in the past few years, and thanks to his fantastic results he has made a name for himself in the poker world and got a legendary status in his native Ukraine.

Katchalov is best known for his results in the WSOP, a WPT event win and the 2011 PCA $100,000 high roller win. However, he is also a well-known face online under the alias "MyRabbiFoo". He's a specialist in mixed games and, for example, he has a WCOOP title. From now on, he will be playing as "E.Katchalov" at PokerStars tables.

Unfortunately i have never heard of him, but it seems like a pretty skilled guy, with lots of good points in his poker carreer. Pokerstars chose very well before making a new contract (i say this because once i told'em they could contract me if they wanted and they just ignore, so they know well the players Smile ) so i guess E.Katchalov will be a new name to take in consideration in the world ranking scene!

Good for him and congratulations on my behalf, I hope I can follow his footsteps one day and also sign up with a big pokerroom.

Makes sense. One of the best tourney players of the last few years, and Poker Stars is the home of the big online tourneys. A better choice than a cash player like Isildur.

I must admit that I haven't heard much of him, but it seems like he is a quite experienced player and I would love to see him playing for PokerStars in the future Smile
