After Sunday's loss against Daniel Negreanu it didn't take long before Viktor "Isildur1" Blom was back on the nosebleed tables as he took on the Finnish poker pro Ilari "Ziigmund" Sahamies in three $25/$50 PLO matches. It only took Isildur1 745 hands to win $106,882 from Ziigmund. It was a well-needed win for the Swede who has lost some serious cash this year.
Ziigmund has also lost big this year and he also needs to make up for money he lost during 2010. In his blog, Ziigmund has complained about him being unlucky and that he has lost his interest for poker. Well, all players can have downswings and be unlucky at times but I doubt that his losing streak has anything to do with it. For example, in two of the biggest pots he played against Isildur1, he risked too much with bad hands and bad draws. Many people think that Ziigmund needs to take a longer break from poker and have a look at his own game before his bankroll is in danger.
Question: What do you think Ilari "Ziigmund" Sahamies should do in order to become a winning player again?
