Even though many big names made it to final table of WPT Hollywood Poker Open, it was an unknown poker player who won it. It only took 3 hands of play before a short stacked Ali Eslami was sent packing, then it was Andy Whetstone's turn a few hands later. After about 30 hands had been played, Tom Marchese was also knocked out and left were only 3 players - William Reynolds, Erik Seidel and Mike Scarborough.
All of them had plenty of chips to work with and it took about 140 hands until the next player was eliminated, William Reynolds. The final table was down to heads-up. Scarborough had a great chip advantage and it didn't take long before he sent Seidel packing and laid hands on the first prize of $273,664. The runner-up, Erik Seidel, received $155,103 and increased his lead on the poker all time money list.
Final Table results 1st: Mike Scarborough - $273,664 2nd: Erik Seidel - $155,103 3rd: William Reynolds - $110,788 4th: Tom Marchese - $77,551 5th: Andy Whetstone - $62,041 6th: Ali Eslami - $50,962
