Almost 2 months have passed since Viktor "Isildur1" Blom took on an opponent in the cash game challenge SuperStar Showdown at PokerStars. But on Sunday it's finally time for another SuperStar Showdown as Rui "PepperoniF" Cao has accepted the challenge, which will be played on four $50/$100 tables - 2 NLH tables and 2 PLO tables.

Blom has won 7 out of 9 challenges so far and he is up about $350,00. But the match on Sunday might be one of his toughest matches so far since he's up against one of 2011's most successful high stakes players. In total, Rui Cao has won $1.4 million at PokerStars and $340,000 at Full Tilt this year, and his winning streak seems to be far from over. He has been interested in taking part in the SuperStar Showdown since the very beginning, but for some reason he decided to wait until now before challenging Blom. Maybe a tactic? We will have to wait and see.

Ladies and gentlemen, don't miss out on the SuperStar Showdown challenge at PokerStars on Sunday! May the best man win!

Blom has all statistics on his side, winning 7 out of 9 challenges, which is very good. Saying previous oponents were worst or softer than PepperoniF is not very nice and gentle, i think this can be a way to say Blom isnt that good, but he is. Every pro has ups and downs, being winning $350 is the same as zero for someone like him. Its better for Pepperoni to take care fo his game if he wants to win, thats my advice.

Like on every Superstar Showdown so far Viktor Isildur1 Blom was always the favourite, although there was maybe a small exceptiopn, and here i'm talking about Scott Urnotndanger Palmer, who really is a master in heads up no limit holdem.
This sunday match will be very interesting since the players will play in the same time both no limit holdem and pot limit omaha. I can bet all my money on viktor on the no limit holdem heads up tables, rui cao is way inferior but since it's only a battle he could have luck and make a difference. Smile
On the pot limit omaha tables the situation it's a bit more complicated, from what i know rui cao it's a plo specialist, so that would be the interesting tables to watch. Still, after signing with pokerstars viktor also studied and played a lot of plo, now it comes to mind that sick plo session against Scott Palmer where isildur1 booaked a profit of 1.2 million dollars Big Smile Big Smile Big Smile
