Phil Ivey's ex-wife to write a "tell-all book"

It can't be easy being Phil Ivey at the moment. As if it wasn't enough hassle for him already with the lawsuit against Full Tilt Poker. Now his ex-wife, Luciaette Ivey, is planning on writing a "tell-all book" about her life together with Phil Ivey. Below you can read the original message that different PR firms have received lately.

"Hello,
I am attempting to help a good friend of mines that used to be married to Phil Ivey find a reputable and strong PR firm to represent her as she is wanting to write a "tell all" book.  She had been with him since she was 17 years old until 2009.

We are wanting to find someone to represent her and find all opportunities that are available as there is a lot of momentum due to Phil Ivey being the biggest poker player in the world.

I'm sure you are aware of all the public news surrounding the Poker, Fulltilt and Phil Ivey currently. Luciaetta Ivey has never been in the media and we would like to explore opportunities with your firm as well if you find interest.

Please contact me per the info below as we look forward to hearing from you!"

There is no doubt whatsoever that some PR firm is willing to help Phil's ex-wife to write the book. After all, Phil is one of the best and biggest names in the world of poker, and there are many people who would love to know more about his life and how he spends his money. On the other hand, according to many experts on this area, Luciaette Ivey won't make much money out of this or even get 15 minutes of fame.

shes just trying to use her past relationship with ivey to make some money.
whether book will be hit or not depends on the content of the book, but she must have some spicy stories that she decided to write a book

Can Phil Ivey keep his poker face after the book is published? I guess it will be a lot harder: each time he looks at an oponent that is starting to laugh just because of being playing against Ivey, he will be compromising his reading of the hand and will sure start loosing some grip and skill.

I don't like this. Write a book on a past relationiship is orrible. Probably she make some money but this is wrong! Angry pour Phil Ivey.

I dont get what she is trying to do, actually a I do, hurt PI, the book wont make much $, and im fairly sure she is set up quite nice, As I remember she did the dirty on him, so whats all this about, revenge because he droped her skank ass. Wounder if she will include all the stories of how he gave to charity, how amazing he is at poker...etc, I hope it back fires on here, want to write a book then do it about yoursel stop trying to get $ of someone elses name...pigeon.

Not sure how many money she get after their divorce but it seems it needs more, thats why she wants to write down this book. Of course that she really will make this step and write down this book, there will be plenty of poker fans that will buy it and read it since always this type of publications tend to draw a lot of attention, plus i'm sure she will embed some flash statements in order to generate sales Evil
In general we know some expenses Phil Ivey made over the years, i mean he has houses in California and Las Vegas and of course some really expensive cars, a Mercedes McLaren AMG and a Bugatti Veyron, so there won't be too much surprises here. Oh, and he also eat a piece of chicken worth of 1 million dollars Big Smile (Tom durrrr Dwan side bet).

My wife is about to write a tell all book too, even though we are still happily married. It will be titled MAHDROF : How to domesticate a man. Full of amusing anecdotes like the time I stepped onto a poop diaper in my sock feet, went to the supermarket and bought salmon pot pie instead of chicken pot pie, etc. Guaranteed #1 on the best seller list (for insomniacs)! Tongue
