Day 2b of the 2011 WSOP Main Event came to and end about 2 hours ago. The day started with 2490 players and ended with 1,080 players remaining. This means that about 1,900 players are through to Day 3 of the tournament, which starts tomorrow. In the lead is no one else than Ben Lamb, who took down the $10k PLO event for $814k, finished 2nd in the $3k PLO event, and has cashed in another 2 events at the 2011 WSOP. Ben Lamb is in great shape this year, and looks like he wants more than he already got. This is the way every players should be. One can also win being aggressive out of the field, and this is the best way to do it. He is showing his oponents he isnt just another one sit on the tables. To me, he just one the title of favorite to win this tourney, although there are still 1,899 to eliminate!

Ben Lamb is simply unstoppable this year at world series of poker, and what is even more amazing is that i never heard of him previous of this year world series of poker Smile

I don't track too much live poker either but i'm pretty sure that online he wasn't a too well known players since i never heard about his name in the online high stakes reports...

This must be a great example of a great live player with excelent results, so Thumbs Up for him Blink
By the way Patrik Antonius also found himself well inside the days top 10 at the close of play accumulating a 361k stack Big Smile
