The 8th season of European Poker Tour has already kicked off, and now it has been announced that Edgar Stuchly has taken over as the new EPT president. Stuchly will be a familiar face for many people on the EPT. He has 20 years of experience in the industry and recently he worked as Head of Poker for Casinos in Austria while he managed poker rooms at 12 casinos.
"The EPT is the richest and most prestigious poker tour in Europe, and I'm delighted to be joining a much-loved and well-run live tour," Stuchly said. "The goal now is to take the EPT to another level, in terms of improving the experience for players and expanding the tour into burgeoning poker markets in Europe. It's a big challenge but one that I'm relishing."
